Unexpected

Almost here

It's been 4 weeks since they tried again and Meredith was sick. Zola had the flu a couple days before so she just assumed she got it passed to her. "Derek next time one of the kids have a flu don't bring them near me" Meredith groaned as she laid in the bathroom floor preparing to puke again. "Sorry Mer" Derek said rubbing her back. "Your sister will be here in 2 weeks. We need to make sure everything is ready" Meredith sighed. "Mer. You don't need go do that right now you need to rest" Derek laughed. "I know" She said trying to stand up becoming dizzy. "Mer" Derek said as she stumbled. Derek picked her up bridal style and laid her in the bed as he cuddled next to her. "I hate being sick" She whimpered. "I know" Derek said as they cuddled. "Take a nap. I'll take care of the kids" Derek smiled standing up. "You're to nice to me" Meredith smiled. Derek left the room and shortly after Meredith fell asleep. While Meredith was sleeping Derek picked up some of the toys that were laying all over the living room. He then made some lunch for the twins because Zola was at school. He fed the twins and then put them down for a nap. He turned on football and watched for a bit until he heard a noise. "Hey" Meredith said as she walked into the living room. "Hey how are you feeling" Derek asked. "Better surprisingly" she chuckled. "That's good" He smiled. Meredith sat down next to her thinking about somethings when it finally came to her mind. She has been sick in the morning, she's late and they have been trying. It never occurred to her that she might be pregnant or she could just be sick. "I need to go to the store and buy something for Zola's class party" Meredith said as she stood up. Zola didn't have a class party she just needed to get a pregnancy test. She got dressed and headed out the door to go to the store. She walked in grabbed the test and some candy so it wasn't suspicious and left. She drove home and saw that Derek wasn't there neither were the kids. She looked at the clock and saw it was time Zola got off of school and he left to pick her up. She ran to the bathroom and took the test. After 5 minutes of waiting she looked at the test positive Meredith was so happy that she was having another baby. She called Derek quick. "Derek" She squealed through the phone. "Woah Mer you are excited" Derek laughed. "I have to tell you something when you get home" Meredith giggled. "Oh I'm excited. I'll be home in a 10 minutes" Derek said. "Ok I love you bye" She said as she hung up. Meredith wanted to tell him about the news in a special way but she didn't know how. She sat quietly until Derek came home with the kids. They got the kids situated and then Meredith took Derek to the bedroom and sat him on the bed next to her. "So" She smiled. "So?" He repeated. "You know how we were trying" She said. "Yes" Derek smiled. "Well" Meredith said pulling out the test. "OH MY GOSH" Derek shouted as he stood up and hugged Mer. "We are having another baby" He laughed happily. "We are having another baby" She repeats also happily. "But Derek." She sighed. "What" He said. "I don't want anyone to know. It's to soon" she sighed thinking the worse. "Ok" He said comforting his wife by kissing her forehead.
