Chapter 5- Inspector.

-Jeon Jungkook POV-

-[2 weeks later]-

"Are you sure you guys will be fine together?" Y/n questioned again as I immediately nodded meanwhile Taehyung was still asleep in her room so I thought it's best for me to wave her goodbye alone, also the fact that I did had all her attention to myself for the whole morning at least until she leaves for her work. I can't help but smile wide as we converse and she offers to take me with her to the work next time to which I immediately agree without any hesitation.

"Okay Kook, don't study too hard! See you at night" she says as she hugs me tight and I don't waste any time to return the gesture....she's truly a blessing in anyone's life. I'm slowly getting myself attached to the littlest detail about her and that attachment is turning into an obsession in no time, I know it's toxic but I can't help to fall over and over again about each and every damn thing about her whether it's the way her dimples shows up every time someone tickles her belly or the way she rarely yet accidentally giggles but whenever she does it's the most adorable sound to ever exist.

I close the door as she walks out meanwhile I decided to grab the books I got myself from the library this weekend, I really need to review few topics since whatever happened in my life triggered everything pretty damn hard. The interview shifted over months so they haven't emailed us yet when the exact date would be but it's always better to be prepared. It's hard to gain focus but in order to make myself a man worthy enough to take care of Y/n I have to give my best and make her proud because to me all it matters now is her feelings. There is something pure in the way she struggles to do what is right, it's an honesty, right? She has the kind of creative brain that brings such magic and interest to life, one that enjoys the sparking of ideas.

"Hey Jungkook...wait she left?" Taehyung walks in, still quite sleepy which is clear from the way he sounds and looks since he came back home pretty late last night as far as I remember as Y/n mentioned it this morning. I nod in response as I start reading through the thick textbook in my hand after taking a seat on the chair attached with the antique coffee table near the window just so I can catch a glimpse of the sky every time I miss Y/n.

I hear little noises in the background which must be Taehyung getting himself to eat something or showering but I don't mind since the majority of times he walks back to his apartment to work or he himself accompanies Y/n to work since they have the job at the same place making me extremely conscious since I can't mentally accept that they are together or most importantly in love.

"Hey buddy want some coffee?" he questions as I smile in response and politely reject since I already had my dose of strong caffeine which is going to last for a long while for sure.

My impression of Taehyung is actually positive excluding the part that involves any kind of relationship between him and Y/n because that's unacceptable to me in every kind. He's a very handsome and charming man even though something about him always kind of led towards darkness, I don't know why but I always felt that something is off about him but decided not to bring it up to Y/n since obviously she'll take his side and maybe it's just the jealous side of me hating on him.

We don't talk a lot but when we do it's always quite amusing and interesting, he's a great talker for sure and his perspective of looking and understanding various things amuses anyone easily including me so it's no wonder that Y/n adores him so much especially after years of being together.

"Am I disturbing something?" he questions politely as I immediately shake my head and place the book I was reading earlier aside while he takes a seat right in front of me. He has a very intimidating and dominant personality which clashes against mine especially when we are not on terms with something, it's definitely interesting to witness that but at the same time a bit annoying.
