"I already talked to.."

I tried to open my eyes and the first thing I saw is a white ceiling. I tried to move my eyes since I can't still move because I'm in so much pain and there I found my family talking to each other.

"Eleanor?" I heard Ate Ester's voice and I saw her walkijg towards me.

When our eyes met, I saw her panicked. She quickly called them after seeing me.

Masakit ang ulo at halos buong katawan ko ay masakit na rin. I try to recall what happened...

We went to a club. We danced. We got drunk. I slept. I woke up and saw Colt. And realized I was almost...

"Eleanor, anak?" nag-aalalang sabi ni Daddy.

Nakita ko ang pagdating ng doctor kasunod niya si Winston. Winston looks so tired and worried. Then he met my eyes and I saw his face relaxed a little bit.

And I remembered something. Winston was there. After the accident.

Nawala lang ang tingin ko kay Winston nang makalapit na ng tuluyan ang doktor sa akin.

"Ms. Fortes, can you hear me? Do you feel any pain in your head? Can you see this clearly?"

Marami pa ang tinanong ang doktor sa akin. But I cannot answer his questions properly. All I can do is slightly nod and shook my head.

Hinang-hina ako. Wala akong lakas para gumalaw. And I can't even talk because I feel so weak that I don't think I can even open and move my mouth.

Pagtapos ako kausapin ng doktor ay si Mommy at Daddy na ang kinausap nito. Nakita ko ang paglapit ni Kuya Ethan at Ate Ester sa akin. Winston, on the other hand, is also listening to what the doctor is saying to my parents.

"May masakit ba sa'yo, Eleanor?" nag-aalalang sabi ni Ate Ester.

"I wasn't wrong when I said there's something wrong with that bastard," Kuya Ethan angrily said as he clenched his jaw.

As I heard that from Kuya Ethan I remembered something. May sinabi nga siya tungkol kay Colt noon sa surprise party. Hindi ko alam kung paano nasabi ni Kuya Ethan iyon but recalling everything... tama nga siya.

I always find Colt staring at me. Akala ko wala lang iyon at nagkakasalubong lang ang mata namin. But what happened just made me realized Kuya Ethan was right all along.

Agad na nangilid ang luha ko nang maalala ang nangyari. Parang ngayon lang ulit nagsink in sa akin.

I almost got raped. I almost died.

"Ethan.." saway ni Ate Ester.

Nakita ko ang pagtingin sa akin ni Ate Ester at agad siyang nataranta. I heard Kuya Ethan muttered some curses after looking at me. He was so angry that he went out of the room.

Ate Ester held my hand as she called our parents.

"What's wrong, Eleanor? May masakit ba? Tell me, anak..." nag-aalalang sabi ni Mommy.

Tiningnan ko si Daddy na siya na lang nang kausap ng doktor.

"The accident may have been traumatic for your daughter. It's best if you..."

"Eleanor..." Ate Ester softly said.

Hindi ko na nagawa pang sagutin ang mga tanong nila at tahimik na lang nang umiyak at hinayaan ang tuloy-tuloy na pagtulo ng luha.
