The icy wind blew across Jisung's face, sending shivers down his body. Minho noticed the other shake slightly and sighed. He took off his jacket, putting it around Jisung. Jisung lifted his gaze at the sudden warmth, widening his eyes. He looked up at Minho, who just smiled at him in return. "Aren't you cold like that?" He asked him, lips tugging out as he frowned a bit. Minho chuckled. "It seemed like you needed it more than me," he answered, brushing the hair out of Jisung's face again. Jisung looked down, facial muscles tensing as he tried to suppress a smile. "What is he being so romantic for?" he muttered to himself.
Minho had walked Jisung home, going with him all the way until the start of their pavement. Minho waved at him. "See you tomorrow."
Jisung waved back and took out his keys, twisting the lock. When the door closed behind him, Jisung put his hand on his chest. "Calm down, heart," he told it. He bet it would have thumped out of his chest if he didn't have a ribcage. He breathed out, his face gradually becoming red as well. "Was it always this hot?" Jisung asked, tugging at the neck part of his shirt. Jisung felt his burning cheeks and hurried to the stairs. "Not so fast, Ji," his mom called out to him before he could even reach the stairs.
He slowly turned around. "Yes, mother?" he asked her politely, plastering a smile on his face. "Why are you so red?" Jisu eyed her son with raised eyebrows. "I-it's nothing, mom. I just ran home really fast," Jisung tried making up a lie even though it was obvious his mother saw right through him. "Ayy," she smirked. "Don't tell me you already have a boyfriend."
Jisung widened his eyes at her assumption. This is bad, now his face got even redder. "So that's a yes," Jisu pointed at his crimson red face. "No, mom! That's not it," he sulked, hiding his face in his hands. "Oh, so he's your crush!" Jisu's eyes got even bigger in adoration. "Mom!" Jisung frowned and ran upstairs. Jisu laughed at her son's actions. "You're crazy, Jisung," she shook her head and went further with the dishes.
Jisung pushed the door close behind him, letting out a sigh. "Great, now my mom will never stop teasing me until I'm burned to ashes," Jisung complained, needing a moment to whine. He looked down, seeing Minho's jacket fit perfectly around him.
Jisung dropped down on his bed, holding the jacket in his hands, inhaling the scent of Minho that was still there on the coat. "He smells so good," he mumbled. "Wait, what?!" the male got out of his dreamland in a whip, sitting upright again. Jisung ruffled his hair until it was a mess. "Get him out of your head!" he begged himself.
"Jisung quiet down! Your brother is sleeping!" Jisu yelled from downstairs. Jisung held his breath. "She heard me!" he whisper-yelled. That's it, he gave up, and just laid down so he could at least try to get himself some sleep. If only his mind didn't wander to that same person the whole night.
*Earlier that day*
"Seungmin, stop right there!" Felix demanded, pointing his finger at Seungmin. He had been chasing after him for a while since he now knew his whereabouts. Seungmin tried his best to hide, running away every time he met Felix somewhere. But, in the end, he just failed miserably.
Felix had to catch his breath first as he finally caught Seungmin. "You," he breathed heavily, "are running away from your problems, and I mean literally, you are running away and make me chase after you!" he snarled, glaring Seungmin dead in the eye.
Seungmin almost had to swallow under the other's glare. In all these years they had been together, he had never seen him this mad. "Don't you know how to take responsibility for your actions?" Felix questioned, still not calm about it. He leaned into him. "Wha-" before Seungmin could say something, Felix's lips were pressed against his. He sat down on his lap, leaning even more into the other's touch. Oh, how he had longed to do this with Seungmin. Felix had wanted his touch. He needed it.
For Seungmin it wasn't any less different. For years he craved to have Felix to himself like this. His hands all tangled up in his hair as they moved together in sync. The heat rose to both of their cheeks, but they didn't mind. They needed this for just a bit longer.
Unfortunately, the moment had to stop so both of them could catch their breath. Felix looked at him as a flustered and hazy smile made its way to his face. Before drifting off on the rosy cloud, he snapped back to reality.
"Why did you never ask how I feel?" Felix scolded Seungmin. "I know, I'm a coward," he began and Felix nodded to that statement. That's right he was a coward. "I just didn't want to ruin our friendship," Seungmin said, avoiding the male's sharp gaze. He felt guilty, he truly did, Seungmin never imagined how his actions would affect the other. "I'm so selfish," he muttered to himself. Felix didn't let Seungmin continue after that. He shoved his hand against Seungmin's chest.
"You asshole! How dare you disappear? Do you have any idea how worried I was?!" the male ranted and Seungmin looked up at him, the sight of guilt in his eyes. "I am so sorry Felix.." Seungmin kept on apologizing.
Felix calmed down and gave him an apologetic smile. "Seungmin, I love you, but don't ever scare me like that again." The boy leaned into Seungmin's embrace again. "I promise you, I won't. Never again," Seungmin promised and kissed Felix's nape which caused the other to giggle.
