Minho began his morning with a sprint through the hallways. The way he moved past every student was a true feast to the eyes, one should praise his ability to avoid people so swiftly. His breath accelerated upon picking up the pace as his goal was only one person. "Love! Han Jisung!" Minho yelled from across the hallway, causing some heads to turn from around him. Jisung had just enough time to jump into his arms and wrap his legs around Minho when the older one swept him off the floor, twirling the both of them around. Felix and Seungmin moved aside just in time, backs almost pressed against the lockers. "I got accepted!" Minho announced with, what Jisung swore, the biggest excitement he had ever seen on the older. Jisung cupped the other's face and leaned in to give him a passionate peck, causing the people around them to comment on their kissing in the middle of a public space. They were just jealous. "I'm so proud of you, baby!" Jisung beamed with immense pride.
He was so happy for him. Minho could now go off to chase his dreams. The younger wrapped his arms around the other and he did the same. "You did it. I knew you could."
Minho looked at the boy in his arms. "Thank you for always believing in me."
"You are my idol after all," Jisung finished with a wink, the two of them ending up laughing together. It was then that Seungmin announced their existence with the clear of his throat. "Hate to break you guys' moment, but we have class in thirty seconds."
One week from now and Minho will audition.
But at what cost?
Minho got surprise-attacked by Hyunjin, who tightly wrapped his arms around him. "You are going to audition?!" He yelled with widened eyes, holding the other's shoulders. From the corner, Chan checked them with crossed arms, leaning against the doorpost.
"Just don't take it too far like last time." Chan appeared with an uneasy expression. The atmosphere grew tense. And the contact between Minho and Chan didn't seem to break. Hyunjin chuckled nervously. "Okay, don't you two think it is time to let that go now?" he said, separating the two from each other. "No. I get it." Minho shoved away Hyunjin's arm and stormed out of the room, into the hallway.
"Come on, Chan. We are his friends. He is allowed to audition there, so we should be happy for him." Hyunjin exclaimed. Chan's eyes flickered over the floor. "I know, Hyunjin. I'm just worried he might overwork himself like last time."
The past made their heads move away from each other. A sigh escaped Hyunjin's mouth as he grabbed Chan's shoulders. "But this is not like last time. It won't happen again."
"How can you be so sure?"
The wind breezed over the grass, taking it within its dance. The tender breeze seemed to love to play with Minho's hair too but he didn't mind as he let it gush over him. A twig cracked, yet he didn't flinch. "What are you doing here and how did you find me?"
"It's a place only you and I know," a voice spoke from behind but Minho didn't bother to turn around.
"Plus," Jisung kneeled down. "You look upset."
He dragged him down softly so Minho laid on his lap.
"Are you.. happy for me?"
Jisung stared in front of him absently. "That doesn't matter." he figured, expressionless. "How about you?" Jisung traced over the other's chest and stopped right at his heart with the tip of his finger. "Are you happy?"
Minho stared up at him to meet Jisung, who was already staring down at him intently. He laid his hand over Jisung's. "I am closer than ever."
"I can't fail."
A fond smile appeared on the other's face. "I know you won't," he assured, waving their intertwined hands back and forth. Jisung's giggles were contagious to Minho as a small smile sneaked up his face as well. "Thank you for being here with me, Love."
"Of course. If I wouldn't have done that, you would be sulking here all alone. And," Jisung got closer to him. "It's my job to keep you company." he whispered before Minho pulled him down, making their lips clash. "Don't go all confident on me now and tease me so much. Be careful of who you're dealing with." Minho warned, causing Jisung to chuckle. "I like the consequences." He winked provokingly, anticipating the older's reaction. And without hesitation, Minho tackled Jisung to the ground, attacking him with an abundance of kisses all over his frame. Their overwhelming joy and chuckles filled the air, both of them never wanting to leave this moment.
"We are going to be late for class, aren't we?" Jisung remarked after regaining his breath from laughing too much. "Forget about class. Let's just skip." Jisung flung his hand to his mouth, an overdramatic gasp exiting from it. "The Lee Minho wants to skip a class?" he asked, eyes wide open. Minho pushed him slightly. "You are being dramatic again," the older stated. "I know," Jisung answered honestly. "But that is one of the qualities you love about me."
"Fair enough." Minho leaned down to peck the boy's lips again. "Please stay?"
Jisung couldn't say 'no' to those doe eyes and gave in. "Fine," he sighed, not sure if he'd get in trouble again for missing a class. "I'll stay for you."
