*A week before*
Minho sat in the cafe waiting for someone. He glanced a few times at his watch and tapped his feet on the ground out of habit. The bell of the door rang and a familiar figure stepped inside, greeting the staff with a slight bow. "You were the one that invited me, yet you are the one that arrives late, Hyunjin."
Hyunjin sighed. "I know I am probably someone you don't want to see right now," he admitted while he sat down on the couch opposite of Minho.
"But we need to talk." he stated, making Minho sit right up from his slanted position. "I know you hate me for everything I've done and said, but I want you to know I am still mad at you." Minho scoffed. "And that's why you invite me here?"
Hyunjin motioned for Minho to stay quiet and let him continue. "Go on," he urged the other. "You abandoned us, your friends, right after you took interest in Jisung!" A few heads of the other people turned to them. "It's unfair." Hyunjin lowered his voice as soon as he noticed the people that were looking. "You are an asshole, Lee Minho."
"Then am I supposed to read your minds or what?" Minho snarled. "It wasn't fair of you to turn everything to Jisung! This goes between us three."
Hyunjin lowered his head. "Yes, I know. I shouldn't have done that." he outed guilty. "Minho, tell me honestly. Did you ever take us as your friends?"
Minho went speechless for a bit.
"Hyunjin."
"You're acting ridiculous, of course, I consider you both as my friends!"
"Then please, Minho, do me a favor." Hyunjin started. "Only if you will apologize to Jisung." Minho said and Hyunjin nodded. "I will."
"Continue." Minho motioned.
"Please, talk to Chan."
"Why, what's wrong?"
"I just think you two should talk."
"Oh, Minho, and another thing. I am sorry for acting the way I did." Hyunjin bit his lip, eyes averted from the other in front of him. Minho shook his head before hitting him on his shoulder. "Ouch!" Hyunjin rubbed the side of his shoulder. "You idiot, you should have just told me this all before." Minho scolded him. "I know I am stupid," he admitted and rubbed the back of his head.
"I am sorry too. For leaving you both behind and taking you two for granted." Hyunjin smiled and stood up, holding out his hand. "Are we good?" Minho shook his hand. "We're good."
The music played abnormally loud. Minho didn't like the busy atmosphere. To his luck, he found Chan at the bar. Minho sat down next to him and Chan rolled his eyes. "So now you come to see me?" He huffed and took a sip of his drink. Minho got taken aback by the other's comment. "What do you mean by that?"
"It's not like you needed me anyway," Chan said. "You have Jisung right?" The tears glazed in his eyes. He didn't know if he was this emotional from the alcohol or the built-up feelings he had been holding inside.
"And you think disappearing on me without telling me anything or contacting me after this entire month would solve anything?" Minho argued back. "I'm sorry was me not being selfish too much for you?" Chan tilted his head with the most sarcastic tone Minho had heard from him. But in those burning eyes hid anger. "You made me suppress my feelings because you loved someone else more than me!" he yelled as he threw his glass on the ground in frustration. "Then stop keeping me in the dark all the time! For god's sake, talk to me!" Minho yelled back.
