It was already the next day, still early in the morning, yet Jisung was already pacing around in his room. "How the hell am I gonna return this to him?" He paced some more before stopping to look down at the coat. "What do I do?" he asked himself, planting his hands to his head as if he expected himself to answer him. "When do I return it?" he grasped his hair, letting the jacket fall from his hands. "For goodness' sake, Han Jisung. Just return the damn jacket. It's no big deal!" he scolded himself.

Jisung took a deep breath in, and a deep breath out before he made himself ready to go to school. Also in his panicking state, he didn't notice it to be 7:30 AM. "Shit, I'm gonna be late, again!" he cursed himself and ran downstairs.

Now it seemed as if he made himself worry for nothing. Apparently, he ran here in five minutes. When Jisung entered, he met a sight he couldn't believe. Felix and Seungmin were standing by his locker. With their hands intertwined!

"Hey, Ji," Felix greeted him, a bright smile pulling up his cheeks. Jisung's face still held the same shock. He waved around his hands for them to stop for a second. "Wow, wow, wow. What the hell did I miss?" he questioned. Felix still had that lovestruck smile plastered on his face as he leaned into Seungmin, looking up at the other. "Do you tell him or do I tell him?"

"We are now officially dating," Seungmin stated, and kissed the top of his boyfriend's head. Jisung couldn't resist but smile too at his now dating friends. They really are adorable together.  Jisung sighed dramatically. "Great. Now I'm the official third wheel."

"Not for long though" Jisung almost choked on Felix's statement. "I'm sorry what was that?" he expressed, earning a mischievous smile from him, Felix leaning closer to Jisung's ear. "What I meant to say was, I bet there's someone you have your eye on. Or is perhaps it the other way around?" he whispered and hinted towards a certain someone standing across the hallway after.

Jisung could feel a pair of eyes on him, and if his instincts were right, which he hoped they weren't, he knew exactly who was looking at him. "What's up with the tension today?" Felix smirked, and still eyed Minho, who was there just casually checking Jisung out.

Jisung tensed at the stare he received, having to swallow, and look away. "Okay, pray for me. Here I go." Jisung found a way to muster up some courage to walk toward Minho and his friends. "Wait a minute, who's jacket is that?" Seungmin questioned him mischievously. "You'll see," The male answered, digging his hand into the fabric.

He pushed himself through the crowd, which was tougher than it seemed until arriving at the group. Jisung tapped Minho on his shoulder and the other turned around. "Hey umm.. here is your jacket." Jisung held it out to him and continued. "Sorry that I couldn't return it to you yesterday. I mean since you left already, so I thought I'd give it back to you today." Jisung felt the heat warm up his face while rambling. "Get yourself together!" he mentally scolded. Minho took his jacket from Jisung's hands and showed a smile. "Thanks for returning it." Jisung couldn't handle the other's deep stare, so he excused himself, walking back to his friends. Then the neverending teasing started.

"Look who has a crush." Seungmin nudged him and Jisung scoffed. "Go back to your boyfriend!" he back-fired, earning a laugh from his friends. "Wait, the iceberg has a heart?" Chan acted, Minho being quick to smack his best friend. "Why so romantic all of a sudden, huh?" Hyunjin interfered, waiting for an answer when leaning against him. "I think that's already obvious." Minho said, still staring in the boy's direction, lips curling into a satisfied grin. "So you're serious?" The taller asked, shocked at his statement. "Take a guess," Minho responded and walked off to class, the others following behind him, the two sharing a glance.

"Is he for real?" Hyunjin hinted toward their friend, who sat next to them. Chan shrugged at the other's question. "He seems different this time," he whispered back as they sat down at their desks. Minho wasn't even paying attention to what his friends were talking about him. All he could do was steal secret glances at the other boy, sitting across from his desk.

Felix smirked, having noticed, and got closer to Jisung. "Someone's looking at you, Ji," he teased him. "Shut up, no he isn't," Jisung snarled back. Seungmin and Felix caught each other's gaze. "We didn't say it was a male," Seungmin continued as a mischievous grin plastered on his face.

The bell rang and the students practically fled out of their classrooms, and into the hallways to collect their things and go home. Jisung felt his phone buzz inside his pocket. "Hello, mom?" He tried to hear his mother over the loud people. Once he withdrew somewhere in a quiet place outside the hallway, his mother continued. "Jisung, we have a problem.." her voice almost drowned out at the end. Jisung felt a sick feeling rise in his stomach. "What do you mean? Mom, what happened?" he asked, his heartbeat pulsing inside his throat. Felix put his hand on top of his shoulder, face growing obscure, giving him a concerned look. Jisung heard her take a deep breath. "Ji, I think it's better to explain at home," his mom said before hanging up.

"We'll walk you home, Ji," Seungmin offered and Jisung nodded absently. His mind wasn't in the right place right now to say anything.

"Is something bad gonna happen?" Felix asked Jisung as they stood in front of his house. "I don't know, and to be honest, I don't want to know either." Jisung swallowed the blockage, that prevented him from talking, down his throat. "Call us when you know what happened, Jisung." Seungmin's tone turned serious. Knowing how tough Jisung had it at home, they both wanted to make sure nothing bad would happen. Yes, they knew about his abusive father. They also knew about how his family was in poverty. Jisung had told them these ever since they became inseparable. Jisung waved back at them, Felix sharing one last worried expression as he pouted his lips when he and Seungmin walked away hand in hand.
