"I got the recording," Minho said, throwing the device Hyunjin's way, which he caught with a considerable reflex.

"Thanks," he responded briefly and placed it on the closest desk. Minho watched him from the couch as he remained engulfed in thoughts. At least Hyunjin's plan had worked. Minho huffed silently, smiling to himself. He was glad it did. If not for the backup yesterday, it would have taken another turn.

Hyunjin closed the door, turning back to the group, eyes following him as he approached the others. "I think we all know your family is influential," he started, gazing over to Minho. "But there is always a way to undermine someone. Even someone influential." Minho kept their eyes locked, anticipating what would be next. "Your parents are likely to deny everything once they are met with reality. However, you can be one step ahead of that."

"And what is the point you are trying to get across?" Minho rose a brow.

"That my family can help us get out of this mess. They are the key to your, and everyone's, safety. They will help you to get one step ahead."

"Because once you have the right evidence, no one has a chance to escape anymore."

They all turned their heads toward Hyunjin once he finished his sentence, a whirl of questions inside of them, masked by troubled expressions, yet no one was saying a thing. Minho held his eyes closed as if contemplating his options. He let out a sigh, heaving his head, and meeting the gaze of his friend. "You already planned this out, didn't you?" Minho began, although already knowing the answer. "Fine. Today?"

"Today." Hyunjin verified with a firm nod. "I arranged backup for you."

He reached into his pocket, a black metal-looking device held in his hand. "You only have to record the conversation." Of course, that was easier said than done. Both were well aware. Everyone was, as one for one exchanges of eye contact found place.

The older grasped the device from the other, examining it in his palm. Then he nodded. "I will do it."

The doorknob twisted, and with a click of the lock, a few people entered the house. Everyone's head turned to the cause of the sound. A woman stepped inside first, a man following behind, and a group of people that seemed like staff after that. "The ones responsible have been taken in for questioning, everything is under control now." The woman spoke.

She reached in her purse, storing her gloves away. "The court will invite you. You all have the right to refuse to speak in court, but we strongly advise you to. At least one statement, that's already enough. It can help progress the case."

"Thank you so much, Ms. and Mr. Hwang." Jisung bowed, holding his head low. "We are incredibly grateful," Felix joined in as Seungmin too bowed. "Thank you."

A momentary smile laced her lips. "You helped us out with something of great importance. We have to thank you as well."

The next hours were spent with everyone calming down, and returning back to the things they wanted to. Whether that was resting, or finishing a project, anything that would help them relax after such events were welcome. Chan returned to sit down at the table across from Hyunjin, working on something on his laptop while Hyunjin scattered through a few documents. Felix and Seungmin found their place on the couch, the Australian laying on the other's lap while he had his phone out, Seungmin not bothered by that as he laid his head back on the couch, hoping to catch up on some rest.

"I think I will go back to my family now," Jisung announced, grabbing his belongings as he waited before the door while everyone remained seated or occupied with their own things. "I am going to bring him," Minho added as he appeared at Jisung's side, wrapping an arm around his hip. "You don't have to if it is too much, you know?" Jisung responded, putting a hand on him in worry, silently examining him. "You look too tired to go outside by yourself," the older argued. "Besides, I want to see them too."
