The slight creaks of the swinging hammock surprisingly didn't disturb the space, on the contrary, it enhanced in bettering the comforting atmosphere. Chan's senses had gotten hypnotized by the constant movement. It worked like a drug for his brain. Cracks of footsteps on the wood brought back his awareness of his surroundings.

Chan turned his head, met with a silhouette and dark locks covering most of the male's face. Hyunjin twisted uncomfortably in his place, balancing from his heels to the top of his toes as the man's hands hid behind his body.

Hyunjin gathered the courage and finally dared to speak up. "I made something for you." The words left his mouth quickly as if struggling to speak them out before. A perfectly worked-out flower crown submerged from his back and held it close to him, waiting for Chan's reaction. Chan looked away to the side, preventing any contact from happening.

"Why don't you give one to Georgia instead?"

A disappointed sigh escaped the other's mouth.

"We are together, so why would I make one for her?"

"Besides,"

"Does this one have her favorite flowers on it?" Hyunjin questioned and held up the crown.  Chan eyed the other from his side with a skeptical look but Hyunjin didn't give up. "Is she the reason you are avoiding me?" he continued to interrogate. "Well, you two seem to be having a lot of fun," Chan remarked sarcastically. Hyunjin didn't appreciate that attitude. "Chan, don't think anything irrational." his voice turned stern. "Oh, I am sorry am I insulting your precious girl?" the Australian provoked, raising his tone. "What are you even aiming for?" Hyunjin spat back. Chan grasped his hair in frustration. He couldn't hold it back anymore. "That no whore takes my man!"

Silence.

Hyunjin was completely speechless.

"Are you saying you don't trust me?"

"I don't want to share you, Hwang Hyunjin.."

"Am I really nothing to you?" Chan's voice got shaky as his lip quivered. "Chan.." the other spoke up and walked toward him, finally embracing him. Chan grasped the back of his shirt in return, clutching it between his fists. "I tried to leave you be, I tried to hold everything in but I feel so worthless. Compared to her, I am nothing.." the older hiccuped as wet stains began to form on the Hyunjin's back. But at this point, Hyunjin didn't mind it. He chewed on the end of his lip. God, had he really made Chan feel this way?

"I am sorry,"

"I hurt you and I have no reason to defend myself.. I fucked up again, Chan. I am so sorry."

Hyunjin faced his head down.

"I could not live up to the title of the one who can take care of you, after all.."

That's when Chan forced Hyunjin to look at him. Only now did Hyunjin notice the other's red and puffy eyes, staring into his. "I love you, jerk. Don't beat yourself so much." Chan spoke. Hyunjin's hand reached out to cup the other's face, his finger trailing down the bottom part the Australian's lip. "And If taking things slow means you getting taken from me, then I don't want to take it slow anymore." Chan stated, dead serious as he locked eyes with Hyunjin.

As if on instinct, Hyunjin leaned in closer. His hand laid over the other's body, afraid if he didn't hold it, he might lose it. Chan's head tilted to the side, anticipating Hyunjin's every move. He had eyes only for Hyunjin and Hyunjin only had eyes for him. And with every increasing heartbeat, time seemed to move slower to the point it felt like everything around moved in slow-motion. Their unstable breath felt strangely inviting for the both the moment their lips molded together. On instinct, Chan's hand gripped the back of Hyunjin's head, grabbing onto a few strands as the emotion intensified. Rage and sadness had been long forgotten and only made way for pleasure.

A yell sounded from the distance. "Hey! Get a room you two!"

Alert signs soared all through their body, an F1 car is nothing compared to it. Chan fixed his tank top that almost slid off his shoulder and tried to escape, but Hyunjin had other plans. With a swift motion of his hand, he pulled Chan down, almost onto him for a second time. "Where do you think you're going?" Hyunjin teased with a raised brow and a mischievous smirk. The rouge color on the older's cheek faded. "Running, of course. What else?" Chan teased him back.

Hyunjin returned to his serious state. "Can I make you mine?"

A tender smile returned to the Australian's features while getting closer to whisper something in the other's ear. "Of course, but you already did." Then Hyunjin noticed the bandages around the other's fingers. "What happened?" He frowned as he took Chan's hand carefully. "Got cut by thorns when trying to make you something," Chan admitted and reached out for his creation, fixing it onto Hyunjin's head, his lip puckered out in concentration. "There, done." He smiled proudly.

"My turn," Hyunjin said and placed the crown gently on Chan's head. A smile tucked at the end of the man's lips as he admired the masterpiece in front of him. "You look beautiful," the taller complimented, brushing across Chan's locks. A blush formed over Chan's cheekbone. "You are not so bad yourself."

"Be careful next time, okay?" Hyunjin intertwined their hands, tracing small circles over the bandages. "I don't want you to get hurt again."

"I will, Hyunjin."

"It took you guys long enough to make up," Minho rebuked and greeted his two friends before sitting down around the campfire. Hyunjin rubbed the back of his neck, not knowing how to answer. "Anyways, what's on the program?" Chan asked, looking around the campsite field where a few students strolled around and tried to find their places to sit. "We're having dinner in a few minutes and I heard they are preparing a firework show today," Felix answered, earning a nod from the other. "It's like a grand finale!" the young Australian continued with excitement. For Felix, everything shimmering had him mesmerized.

While the rest continued their conversations with each other, Minho looked to his side where Jisung sat and put a hand on the boy's thigh. "Are you okay sitting here or should we go back inside?" he asked with a concerned frown. Jisung shook his head, "I'm fine, Minho." Though Jisung had reassured him, Minho chose to stay close. In case Jisung might need it.

"Everyone gather for a picture!" Felix declared and motioned for them to get closer. "You too, Minnie!" he commanded his boyfriend who really wasn't fond of taking group pictures. "Do I have to?" Seungmin complained, earning an eye roll from Felix. "Yes," Felix grasped the other's wrist and dragged Seungmin against himself. The rest shuffled closer so Felix could begin the countdown.

"Okay. One, two, three!"

Right at the click of the polaroid camera, a fountain of colors exploded into the dark night sky, blending in perfectly with the dozen stars across the horizon. On everyone's turn, a "Wow" escaped their mouths when watching them unfold. Felix leaned onto Seungmin's shoulder. "Isn't it pretty, Minnie?" he sighed in wonder. "It is," Seungmin hummed in agreement. Meanwhile, Chan and Hyunjin were completely cuddled up on each other, their hands intertwined. This was the first time the rest around them reacted. "Are they dating?" a student gasped after she nudged her friend. "Where?" The friend searched and the student pointed in their direction. "There, Hwang Hyunjin and Bang Chan!"

"Are you kidding me right now? All the hot men are taken!" they sulked and Hyunjin chuckled as he could hear every single thing they had been saying. Normally, one of them would have moved away or kept things a secret. Yet this time, none of them did. The world should know who belonged to who and Hyunjin and Chan were just alright with that. Not a single gossip could drive them apart this time.

Jisung brought his knees up to his chest, leaning his chin on them. "Love.." Minho rubbed his hand over the boy's arm. "Hmm," Jisung hummed absently. "What's wrong?" the other asked. "Are you receiving letters again?" His voice got alert but Jisung calmed him down and shook his head. "No, luckily not that," he answered, laying his hand on top of the older's. Minho got the message and, as if it was a reflex, he wrapped his arms around Jisung so he could lean back into him. "I am just worried about mom," he admitted, drawing random patterns over the older's arm. Minho continued to caress him softly, in attempt to distract the boy's negative thoughts. Jisung noticed his attempt and let out a small sigh. "Thank you, Love." He showed a weak smile and closed his eyes, taking a deep breath in. His thoughts are sucking him into that void again but laying like this helps. As long as Minho is near, it's fine.
