"So you are just going to make a habit of coming home late every day?" His mother crossed her arms, standing in front of the doorway. "Shit, am I in trouble?" Jisung asked himself inwardly but got taken surprised by his mother's next comment. "When will I get to meet him personally?" She smirked. "Who?" Jisung asked, which earned an eye roll from Jisu. "Don't hold me for a fool, Han Jisung. I bore you, of course, I know where my son was and with who when returning home this late," She pointed at him. "With that face."

"Mom!" he yelled back.

"Nothing 'mom', I need to meet my son-in-law!" Jisu insisted. "He's not your son-in-law! We just started dating," the boy managed to tell without stuttering. She nodded her head, loving every second of teasing him, so-called 'scrutinizing' him. "We'll see about that."

"Just invite him. Han Jisung, I order you to do so!" Jisu yelled after her son that tried to escape upstairs. "Not if you're going to be like this!" he added for the last time, shutting his door after. Only after he shut the door, did he start to overthink this. He gulped at the thought of his mom coming after him. Maybe he really should invite Minho over. Yeah, that way he could sleep more peacefully alive, that is.

Chan leaned against his hand. A tiring study session as usual. Oh well, exams were just around the corner so no one had a choice. He sighed looking down at the papers scattered in front of him. This would have been easy. This should've been easy. If only there wasn't this distraction. A distraction called, Hwang Hyunjin.

The male's eyes went from his paper to watching Hyunjin from across the library. Hyunjin sat down in a corner, smiling and flipping through the pages of the books he gathered while also helping the others surrounding him. People that were mostly girls. Chan huffed. Of course, girls, again. They had completely given themselves away to the tall man. "I don't blame them though," he mumbled quietly.

He subconsciously bit his lip while watching, his eyes eyeing him up and down. Suddenly Chan noticed every small detail. The way how Hyunjin's long, black locks fell perfectly over his face, those beautiful, well-defined, almond eyes. What caught his eye most was the male's charming smile. Chan could identify that smile out of hundreds. And, oh god, those plump lips.. If only he could kiss them right now he'd do it and be ready to risk it all..

"Checking me out?" Hyunjin's lips curled into a smirk. He almost choked on plain, dry air by the male's comment. How did he not notice him standing here?!  "What? Of course I'm not, I wasn't looking at anything." Chan let out a cough feeling the heat rise to his face. Those were the only words he could choke out. Why was his mouth so dry all of a sudden? Why was it so hard to talk? Why did he have to embarrass himself like this?

"Sure," Hyunjin simply said, though you could read from his face he didn't believe it at all. Just before leaving, he brushed against Chan. The mischievous smirk returned. Chan didn't like where this was going. "Not like I blame you though," Hyunjin whispered with a surprisingly husky voice, sending shivers down to Chan's spine. For a moment he forgot how to breathe. While leaving him stunned, Hyunjin had already walked away with a sense of cockyness.

The male knew Hyunjin was full of himself and that everyone found him hot but it started getting more and more obvious that Hyunjin was well aware of that himself as well. He knew that Hyunjin heard damn well what everybody said about him when either walking down the hallways or just plainly standing somewhere.

Maybe all those comments had made his ego skyrocket but Chan had never, ever thought Hyunjin would use that flirting appeal on him. The Australian gulped. "I am in trouble."

Due to the whole situation, and its lingering after-effects, Chan hadn't noticed the bell that rang for the second time, a second time too late that means. He grasped his books with him which sent a few papers flying around. No time so he put it on sprinting, earning a few confused glances along the way.

"I am actually planning on passing away this semester," Jisung bluntly stated as he took a look at the papers and thick books in front of him. Seungmin shook his head. "You are over-reacting again."

"I am serious, I will die." Jisung continued. "Let me join you," Felix sighed while collapsing on his table dramatically. Seungmin rolled his eyes. "I am surrounded by dumbasses," he exasperated. "Shut up, Minnie," Felix shot back, sending him a glare. "It's not like you will get any better results," Jisung added. "Well, at least I won't fail like you two this time." Seungmin was probably right. His grades were improving, in contrast to him and Felix.

The worst thing was that their class had gotten split into two groups, so he wouldn't get to see Minho at all these exams. Why was life so unfair to him? "I miss him," Jisung pouted. Seungmin analyzed him with a judgemental stare. "Damn, you have become more affectionate ever since you started dating him," he stated. The boy looked at him and spoke. "Just so you know, you looked like this as well so you get no say in this, sir. Felix, you tell him." Jisung urged the male's boyfriend to speak. Felix tilted his head and shrugged his shoulder. "It's true, Minnie," he agreed.

"Oh, by the way, what does your mother think of him?" Felix suddenly recalled, curious for the answer. "She hasn't seen him yet and I mean in the sense of meeting him," he replied. He let out a sigh. "You know mom, what if she suddenly starts to talk about something in the past or expose me for something I did once? That would be so embarrassing.."

"She called him son-in-law that is one thing already and I think it'll only get worse the moment Minho sets one foot in our house."

Felix burst out into laughter. "Son-in-law," he wheezed. "Invite me next time so I can see that happening live," Seungmin said between breaths. "I love your mother, seriously," Felix on his turn commented. "You are not helping." Jisung rubbed his temples.

"No, it's just funny seeing you suffer," Seungmin stated, giving him a nudge. "You should definitely invite him sometime after school," Felix said to get back to the original topic. Jisung fiddled with his sleeve. "Maybe."

The Australian grinned playfully. "I'm curious how Minho would act, though. Will it be like in one of those dramas?" Felix clasped his hands together looking up dreamily. "I wanna see his gentleman side." Seungmin cleared his throat. "I am still here, you know?"

"Lover's quarrel," Jisung sighed while watching the both of them argue once more.

Classes ended but studying didn't. Chan stood almost pressed against his locker, waiting until he had the room to even open it. After a few minutes, most of the people had grabbed everything they needed and got tired of gossiping in the hallways, so they left early. Chan exhaled slowly, leaning against his locker, his books still pressed against his chest. All this studying was going to give him headaches.

"See you tomorrow," Hyunjin smiled and waved. "Yeah, see ya," Chan replied. He clenched his books even more tightly as he watched Hyunjin walking away. "I saw that." Minho appeared out of nowhere almost causing Chan to jump into the air. The Australian held his hand to his heart still calming down from the shock. "You scared me, don't you have a boyfriend to pester?"

He shrugged. "I can't, he's too busy studying," Minho replied, a bit disappointed. He gave Chan a nudge. "I told you, you should look in front of you more often," he said as they watched Hyunjin disappear out of sight. "So, you like him?" Minho asked further which earned a sigh from the older. The question seemed easy, but forming the right words was harder than you may think. Minho noticed the uneasy look on the other's face and put his arm around his shoulder. "You know I support you both, no matter what."

"It probably won't happen," Chan responded.

"How about trying first?" Minho suggested in return. In his opinion, Chan had to stop taking rejection as the only option. "Anything could happen. You don't know the outcome yet."
