Laughs and loud talk filled the air as the students all sat cross-legged on the ground, braiding their flower crowns. The making of a flower crown for a friend or near-one was seen as a holy tradition that must be carried out on the Day of Reflections trip.

Felix ran into Jisung's arms, sending Jisung to stumble back and almost fall to his death. With widened eyes, he patted the Australian's back, utterly confused to say the least. "Lix?"

"Thank you so much, Ji," the boy muffled in the fabric of Jisung's hoodie. "Oh," Jisung let out, caught up on what his friend almost tackled him to the ground for. "It was nothing, Lix. I told you you deserve the best."

"Nothing?" the boy sputtered. "You call that nothing?! It looked like a scene out of a freaking Disney movie. Damn!"

Jisung burst out laughing, scratching the back of his neck. "Did I do too much?"

"Are you crazy? It was amazing. I have experienced nothing like it before." Felix looked up, staring into space, already lost again in memories of last night. "Don't forget to thank my loyal helper as well," Jisung said. "I put him through a lot," he ridiculed. "No way, Minho helped you with this?" His friend's eyes stood wide. "Isn't he great?" Jisung continued to joke. "You two are my favorite people from now on. Next to my Minnie of course." The two of them shared a moment of eye contact before bursting out in laughter together. Laughing like this has been a long time for all of them.

Seungmin appeared in his normal calm way. However, his next move surprised Jisung. Seungmin's arms wrapped tightly around him while Jisung just stared blankly in front of him, arms freezing, unsure how to react to this situation. "I know I don't say it often enough, Ji, but thank you. For everything."

"You are the best friend I could ever ask for."

Jisung relaxed, a smile coming back to his face again, responding by wrapping his arms around him, embracing his friend closer. "I would do anything and everything for you and Felix, Seungmin."

"But I feel like oftentimes I act like such a jerk," the brunette murmured, almost inaudible. Jisung let out a scoff in irony and patted the other's back. "Your snarky and sarcastic remarks are what make you, 'you', Seungmin. I don't take anything to heart. Plus, I love arguing with you," he added, earning a hit to his chest from Seungmin. The other jumped back in reflex, hollering from laughter. Seungmin raised his hand threateningly. "You brat! I was being emotional for once!"

"Alright, alright." Jisung raised his arms as a sign of his surrender. "Thank you for being sincere with me and I know you have always shown us you care about us, so stop acting ridiculous!" he scolded and Seungmin scratched the back of his neck, his earlobes turning red just how they did whenever he felt overwhelmed. "I love you, dumbass." Jisung leaned on him, a lazy smile plastered on his face. "Love you too, brat." Seungmin spun his head the other way to avoid looking him in the eye again. "You guys, don't always leave me out of it," Felix complained with a pout as he hung over both Jisung's and Seungmin's shoulders.

A bit further in the grass, Chan stared at his crown aimlessly, his conscious mind in a totally different place. The man had been avoiding Hyunjin purposefully, so there he sat, all alone. The two of them hadn't talked again at all yesterday during the barbeque event, Hyunjin seemed more interested in Georgia. The thought alone hurt Chan. Maybe it wasn't because of disappointment but the fact he got treated as a mere option, one that isn't satisfying enough.

He got cast outside. It was the only thing obvious to Chan. He couldn't tell Hyunjin how he truly felt cause the right words never seemed to form. The result? The same as every scenario involving conflict, shutting himself away. Chan didn't like bearing grudges, it gets too heavy at some point. His self-esteem wasn't the best either.

"Ouch!" Chan hissed, looking down at a drop of blood trickling down his finger. In reflex he sucked on the cut, the salt metallic taste entering his mouth. What do thorns have to be so sharp for anyway? This is not his day apparently. "This won't do," Chan mumbled under his breath as the cut kept continuing to bleed, the blood tracing down his hand and leaving stains.

The Australian's attention soon focused from his bleeding hand to a few people sitting in the grass. A frown occurred between his brows, eyeing the scene in front of him. Those dark curls could be recognized everywhere. Hyunjin sat crouched down, laughing at something the girl had said. He seemed happy. Happier than he was with Chan at least. His thoughts got interrupted by Hyunjin who waved over to him. "Chan!" he yelled, waving a second time. A confused expression tainted Hyunjin's face upon receiving no reaction. The taller's attention fixed on the way Chan hid his hand in the other while he walked away.

"What was that about?" Georgy frowned with a displeased look. "No idea." Hyunjin shrugs, staring intently into the distance.

"Are you close to Chan?" she asked curiously, fluttering her eyelashes. "Hmm," Hyunjin hummed. "We met when we were still in middle school. We are really close."

Georgy nodded slowly, her mouth making an 'ah' move. "I see," she says.
