"I'm sorry for calling so late," Jisung apologized, sitting in his room with dim lights. "You never bother me, Love," Minho answered on the other line. It was late and on an exam night, but he felt the need to call Minho. "I miss you," the younger admitted. Minho shifted in his chair. "Trust me, Ji, the feeling's mutual," Minho replied. "How are exams going with you, Love?" Minho's mouth almost stood agape but a smirk soon covered it. "That's the first time I hear you call me that." He fell back on the other's words. Jisung rolled his eyes. But the truth was, he was just very flustered. "Ass, that was not the point," he snapped back, his face red, but because of the dim lights, you couldn't see it. Luckily.
"The answer is bad," Minho sighed, his smile growing bitter. "None of my results are ever good enough. In the end, I'll always be a failure and a disappointment to them." Jisung frowned. "Don't be discouraged like that, Love."
"Have some faith in yourself. You know I believe in you as well. You can do this, okay?" Jisung can't stand when Minho is being so negative about himself like that.
"Thank you."
"For what?" Jisung rose his brow, surprised by the sudden gratitude. "For the fact that you exist. I'll need to thank your mom for that," Minho answered. "Tch, such a charmer.." He flushed red again but he couldn't hide the fact that he secretly liked it. "Oh, by the way, my mom actually really wants to meet you," Jisung continued on the topic since they were talking about his mother anyway. "Is that so?" Minho's voice drifted off. "Yeah, I wanted to ask if you would like to come over sometime and have dinner with us. When you have the time too, of course," the male ranted and Minho interrupted him before he blurted out more words. "I'd love to," he laughed because of the other's silliness. "Just tell me when and I'll come over," he added. Jisung caressed the back of his neck, a bit embarrassed for talking so much. "That's good, I'll tell her," he replied. It doesn't matter how long or how much time they spent together, he still managed to get nervous like this. It was the Minho-effect.
The morning went the same as the others, studying in the library and talking about different topics, they were mostly nonsense topics though. Today's topic, ironically, was how a boyfriend should act. Seungmin spoke. "As a boyfriend, he has to be honest, righteous, patient, and understanding."
"So everything you're not." Felix interrupted him. Seungmin gave him a look and rose his hand acting as if he would hit him. "I'm not that bad!" Felix smiled innocently. "Just kidding, Minnie."
Jisung leaned onto his hand while watching the two of them bicker. A smile made its way to his face. He noticed that after a long time of being together, the pink cloud had disappeared. He could see it in the way Seungmin and Felix teased and pestered each other. Yet even though they treated each other like that, they still looked at each other with such fond gazes. The spark in their eyes never disappeared. "That must be true love," Jisung thought.
Seungmin cleared his throat with a cough. "You didn't let me continue." He averted his gaze back to Jisung. "And gentle." Jisung shot him a glare. "What the hell is that supposed to mean?" "Just.." Seungmin's lips curved into a smirk as he eyed him down. "For later," he continued, earning a hit from Jisung. "You perverted ass!" he snarled to which the lady at the desk stood up and glared. "This is a library," she hissed. They all apologized for the inconvenience and sat back down. "This is your fault, fuck you," Jisung spoke bitterly yet Seungmin still wanted to put fuel to the fire. "That's someone else's job." He smiled proudly. "I'm sick of trying to bring peace to the both of you, so both of you cut it or I'll use violence this time," Felix threatened, and surprisingly that worked cause it stayed quiet after and the study session continued peacefully. In their own chaotic way.
Suddenly, Jisung felt a coolness on his neck. He twisted around to meet a pair of mischievous eyes. "Minho, what are you doing here? Your classes start in the afternoon," Jisung asked surprised but couldn't help but smile at his presence. "Here, drink it," Minho replied and handed him the cool water bottle. He took a seat beside Jisung and wrapped his arm around him. "I don't need a reason to meet my boyfriend, now do I?" Minho eyed the male who hit his chest lightly. "Stop being so cheesy all the time," Jisung responded to which Minho giggled.
Seungmin cleared his throat. "Yeah, really not trying to ruin your moment here, but we are here too and this is coming up." He waved the textbook in the air, indicating what the three of them were originally here for. Jisung pouted and looked down at his textbook again. "I know.." He flipped through the pages. "Is it okay for him to stay, though?" Jisung looked up to his friends with the best puppy eyes he got. "I promise, I won't bother any of you. I'll study as well," Minho reassured and showed his bunch of papers. "Of course he can, you're welcome any time," the Australian claimed with a smile. "Thank you, Lix!" Jisung beamed and Felix just shrugged, he loved seeing his friend happy like this in the presence of the one he likes.
Time passed by quickly and after a long time of studying, they all decided it was time for a break. Minho and Seungmin bought coffee for all of them and some late breakfast, the reward being two happy boyfriends.
"When did you plan on coming over?" Jisung asked the older again, reminding him of his mom's invitation. "How does Friday after school sound?" Minho asked. "Great! I'll ask her when I'm back home." Jisung leaned into him, forcing Minho to grab his waist so he wouldn't fall on the floor. Minho grinned at his aloof boyfriend, to him his smile was the cutest. "Cute," he spoke softly. Felix leaned onto his arms and internally cooed at the sight of the two lovebirds. He elbowed Seungmin who squirmed. "Why are you not like that?" Felix eyed him disapprovingly. "I just said, I'm not that bad!" Seungmin defended himself. Felix ignored the other's comment and crossed his arms, slumping in his seat. "Why are we not like that?" he gloomed to which Seungmin shook his head. "Don't be so silly," he laughed and pulled the smaller male in for a back-hug, making Felix smile as well. "I'm just being extra, I love you."
"I love you too, Lix," Seungmin nuzzled his nose in the male's hair. "That tickles.." Felix squirmed in Seungmin's arms.
