"Son, sit down." the man held up a hand, gesturing toward the seat across from him. Minho set another step forward, sitting down, and looking at the man, his father. "You are being sent to another school." The male raised his head in a whip, an incredulous look across his face, rising from his seat. "I am what?!" Wrong move. His father's stare darkened into a glare and he stood up. "Don't dare raise your voice at me!" he warned, pointing a blaming finger in his direction.
"Yes, father." Minho lowered down his voice, his father's glare not leaving even when he got forced to sit down. "You need to study harder and be better in order for you to take over the business." Minho kept his head low. "I will not disappoint you, father." The man kept looking at him, the resentment growing the more he had to see this person. He pointed his finger at him. "You do enough already."
After another load of words about how much he is not enough and never will be, Minho got excused to his room. He tugged the door shut with the last strength he had, bringing his hand to his forehead, rubbing his temples. Another school. The thought exhausted him. His parents had just moved to Seoul, which meant another school for Minho. His family traveled a lot for their business trips, and Minho wasn't capable enough yet to live on his own. So, he is bound to move with his parents. Minho dragged himself over the carpeting of his floor, to the end of his room where his desk was located. He tired down in his seat, grasping his phone from where he had placed it, unlocking his phone.
22:30 PM
The luminant numbers reflected in his gaze as Minho stared at the screen. A sigh escaped from under his drained exhale. His head moved toward where his bed stood. Should he sleep?
With a moment's hesitation, he laid down on his bed, shifting uncomfortably, moving his pillow and covers to every side of the bed. Shivers ran down his spine, making him wrap his arms around himself. The moon shone right outside his window, its strokes filling parts of his room. Minho turned around, watching the scene, curling himself up in a ball. He stared out in front of him.
"This will be one long night."
