*The Present*

"Wow..." Jisung paused. "You remember all of that?" he asked his partner, mouth half-open, in awe. "Of course I do, Love." Minho nuzzled his nose into Jisung's nape, earning a giggle from the other. "Speaking of this, it's been a long time since we visited the fields," Jisung drifted off, lost in thought and memories. Minho noticed the dreamy look on his face, and tilted his head to the other side, thinking about a solution.

"Then why don't we visit it now?" he suggested. "Can we?" Jisung turned to him, eyes flickering excitedly. It's like he had a thousand stars in them sometimes. It got Minho lost for a moment as he just kept staring at him, going over every single detail about him. "Minho?" Jisung waved his hand in front of him in hopes of bringing him back to reality. Minho blinked, shaking his head. "Of course we can," Minho said, a bit delayed, bringing a hand up to his neck while his face heated up. Jisung giggled at Minho's embarrassment. He had been there before uncountable times, so it serves him right. "Come on." He held out his hand, "Let's go," Minho finished Jisung's sentence.

Grabbing their coats from the rack, they got on their way. The icy spring breeze blew past their skin as Jisung clattered his teeth, shivering. Minho looked to his side and shook his head. "Didn't I tell you to put on a scarf?"

Before Jisung could say anything, Minho halted, unwrapping his scarf from his neck. Jisung's heart pulsated as Minho concentrated on tying his scarf around him. Yes, they had been together for three years, yet these small actions still seemed to leave him in a daze. Minho took his chance to peck Jisung's freezing lips and linked their hands together. "You turned all red," he teased, Jisung hitting him as a result. "It's not my fault that you act like a boyfriend out of a K-drama. Must be one of your characteristics." That earned a laugh from Minho, a resounding, harmonious one. "Such a beautiful laugh," Jisung mumbled.

They pushed and brushed through branches and grind roads until finding the hidden opening between the trees. Minho went through it, holding onto Jisung's hand, helping him pass through as well. It had been ages. It's a wonder they still knew where the passage was. The first step on the grass beneath them brought a feeling of nostalgia. Minho turned back around to Jisung, taking Jisung's other hand in his too. "Close your eyes," he instructed. "Why are you being so mysterious?" Jisung rose his eyebrows but complied to the other's words. Minho appeared behind him, judging from the sound located behind Jisung's back. "Trust me," he whispered into his ear, and they took a few tentative steps forward. Tentative for Jisung that is.

Jisung felt the air circulate around them in a breeze the more they walked forward. Why are they going to the center of the field? "Okay, you may open them now." Minho smiled. Jisung fluttered his eyes open, squinting them at first, having to adjust them to the light outside. A gasp left his lips. An immaculate amount of small fairy lights surrounded the space they were in, twinkling like a starry sea of light as Jisung looked around, not knowing what to give attention to first. "Did..Did you do this?" Jisung asked as he turned to Minho, mouth still open.

"Well, I received help from them." Minho motioned to their surroundings, and, as if on cue, people emerged from their hiding spots. "What is this? What are they all doing here?" Jisung stammered, looking at the faces of everyone gathered. Felix, Seungmin, Hyunjin, Chan, his mother, his brother, and even Irene, all of them were here. "Happy three-year anniversary, Love," Minho spoke. Jisung stared, blinking at him, and Minho took advantage of his silence. "Actually, this is not the only reason why I took you here today."

"Minho, what are you doing?" Jisung reached out to him as he crouched down on one knee.

"Han Jisung," he started. He raised his head, looking into his Love's eyes. "When I first met you, I really didn't expect we could ever end up like this. We have been through so much together. And I know that even though we have been together for only a few years, I want it to stay like this for the rest of the years approaching. I want to wake up with you by my side. And I want to take care of you for the rest of our time together."
