Glass shattered to pieces beside Jisung, breaking into a million splinters in which every one of them shone an aghast reflection of him, frozen in his stance. Even though his eyes shut, he still flinched at the bottle crash an inch near him. Jisu ran inside, pushing Jisung to the back of the living room to shield them. "That's enough!" she screamed, a river whirling down her stained cheeks. Jisu recoiled at the slap, tracing the ghost of her husband's hand, mouth agape, only a stunned sigh leaving it. His dad's eyes reddened as his rage seemed to have increased. "You don't tell me what to do, woman!" He grumbled some incoherent words as he collected the other bottles from the ground, snatching his coat with him. "The only thing I get from this family are problems!"

The sound of everyone having settled down beside him pulled Jisung out of his ocean of thoughts in which he seemed to drown. "Ji, are you alright?" Felix asked beside him, lacing a hand on top of his shoulder. Jisung smiled under his friend's warm embrace, giving the other a shake of his head to ease his concern. "It's fine. I was just lost in thought." Now, whether Felix believed him or not on being 'fine' is another story. From the looks of it, he didn't seem to quite believe his friend's statement as Felix eyed him one last time, 'skeptical' written all over his features. "Okay," he simply answered.

"Can anyone elaborate on why we are all gathered here?" Felix questioned, the thing he had wanted to ask ever since he met all the faces in one room again. "I know you and Hyunjin must be the most confused out of all of us, so we'll explain right away. It has to do with Minho's family. They have been too quiet and uninvolved for it to be safe, so we want to find out their main motive. That is also part of the reason why I and Chan disappeared a few days ago, we shared the same thought, and wanted to come up with a solution so we told you guys."

"We can't ensure everyone's safety when we know nothing about their motives." Chan added, a stern look engraved in his features. Hyunjin's face, however, lighted up just the slightest at Seungmin's earlier statement. Now he at least knew where Chan had disappeared to.

"So you mean to say Minho's family might be planning something?" Felix interfered, an almost tangible severity unlocking in his demeanor. "My family has been quiet for far too long," Minho answered, his arms crossed over his chest as he looked out of the window, the look of worry weighing heavy on him. "I have been thinking about it myself as well. Only I fear what we will find might not be the safest, and most civil thing."

"Are they out for us?" Hyunjin then questioned, seeing what road this went down. "Not necessarily, but you never know to what extent they will go, knowing them." Minho's gaze cast down after his statement, Hyunjin visibly noticing the burden of the situation as he too shifted his gaze away.

"How do you even plan on finding out their motives?" Minho then inquired again, a bit disbelievingly as none of them had come with an actual solution yet, shoving the emotions away from him, preserving a clear mind.

"Your house has cameras, right?"

Everyone turned themself toward Chan, who had spoken, Minho watching him the most tentatively out of everyone.

"Yes."

Chan and Hyunjin walked down the stone path, the road trailing down with some depth as a mansion appeared in the distance. They halted before the entrance, looking up at the height of the fence, waiting for the moment of a prolonged screech from the metal. It shoved open upon noticing them, welcoming them inside. It only took a knock on the door for someone to open up, a nice-looking lady appearing in the frame, from the shift in her expression, knowing them. "Chan, Hyunjin! It has been such a long time!" she expressed, bringing them in for a slight hug.
