Part 46

Few weeks later🍂 [February 5th]

Y/N'S POV:

I was standing at the airport as my dad gave me instructions on every single thing. Some were repeated from my trip in December but I calmly listened to him because I was surely gonna miss this. After dad, mom gave me a lecture on how I should focus on studies and not boys. I chuckled.

"Honey, let her have fun! But Y/n, do let us know if there's a boy in your life. Okay?" Dad patted my head. I nodded as a reply and smiled at him.

I felt bad on the inside but I'm gonna tell them soon.

My mom furrowed her eyebrows at my dad and he just took her in his arms laughing at her cute face.

"I want what you both have!" I said and hugged them both. "You will sweetie!" My mom whispered in my ear and kissed my cheek as we pulled out of the hug.

Dad checked his watch and sighed. It's time for me to go. Wow first I wasn't able to leave Korea and now I'm not ready to leave my home.

Both my parents hugged me again and gave me their best wishes and blessings. I turned to leave as I grabbed my trolley of luggage and walked into the security check. I turned around again and waved at them. They excitedly waved at me while shooting me with flying kisses. I laughed and returned the kisses and walked the airport.

Time Skip🛫🛬

The whole flight I was excited to surprise Taehyung because he had no idea I was coming back.

A few days back, we FaceTimed and I told him I had some issue with the Visa. He got all sad and then offered to help me with his contacts, I denied and told him to wait. My heart ached seeing him sad but I wanted to surprise him.

The past month was difficult for both of us as it was just the first month of our relationship and we were away from each other. We couldn't talk or text regularly because of his schedule and my whole college thing. Plus the time zones made it even worse. Sometimes I stayed up or he did but we did it for each other. I felt relieved to see as much efforts from him. Just a smile on his face and my day went well.

This was the reason why I wanted to surprise him. His smile. His bread cheeks rose up every time we saw or talked to each other.

I walked out of the Incheon airport and searched for Ara. I had told Ara and Scarlet and as expected Ara told Joon but then I warned the boys to not let Tae know about it and they've kept their promise. Atleast I hope so.

"Y/n!! Here!!" I heard Ara's loud voice. I turned and saw her waving at me like a maniac. To be honest, I was embarrassed.

"Nostalgic much?" She asked loudly. I hugged her and hummed.
"Can you stop shouting Ara?" I said as scanned around only to see people giving us weird looks.

"No! My sister is here and I'm excited!!!" She threw her hands in the air and I facepalmed. I nodded and pulled up my mask.

We walked to our car and after putting my luggage inside we drove to our apartment.

I called mom and dad to let them know I reached and they even lectures Ara and told them to take care of me while I whined on the side constantly telling them that I'm old enough but no. For them I'm still a baby.

Finally, we reached the apartment. I took out my bags with Ara's help and we both took them upstairs. The door was already open with Scar standing there ready to welcome me. I ran there with my luggage and hugged her as she swayed me to the sides.

We both got in and Ara brought in my bags. I have a sweet sister.

"How was your flight?" Scar asked as we sat on the couch. I sighed and replied, "Tiring! The guy beside me kept snoring and ruined my sleep!"

They both laughed.

"Now go and rest." Ara said handing me a glass of water. I shook my head and took a sip.
"I've to surprise Tae."

"Do it tomorrow Y/n. You're not going back any time soon." Scarlet said.
"Nah I'll just go and meet him. Anyway it's just 12pm. I'll take something for him to eat." I said as I got up from the couch and took my purse.

I walked to the bathroom to pee and washed my face to feel fresh. Gave a little touch of make up and I was ready to go.

I stood at the door as wore my shoes. The girls were still telling me to go tomorrow but I kept quiet.

"Ugh you're so stubborn!" Ara rolled her eyes.
"Have fun and come back home early! Also eat something! And text me when you reach!"

I yelled a yes as the elevator door closed. These both are no less than moms.

I hailed a taxi to Bighit Entertainment. Meanwhile, I checked my phone to see if I've received any texts from Tae or not. But there were none. Only the group chat was full of messages. I guess he's busy today.

"Miss, we're here." Said the driver uncle. I paid him using cash and thanked him. I first went to the burger joint in front of the building and got two burgers and drinks. Beside it was a small cafe, I decided to buy cheesecake there. With everything ready, I walked towards the Bighit building.

I stood in front of the huge building fiddling with my fingers. Letting out a loud sigh, I walked in the building. I met the same receptionist I met last time I visited.

"You're Miss L/n right? Y/n L/n?" The girl said with a wide smile. I smiled back at her and went to greet her.
"I didn't get your name last time..."
"It's Lee Dawon!" She replied.

"I'm surprised that you still remember me though." I said chuckling.
"Miss, You were the only one who ever complimented me so how can I forget that." I felt so happy to know that.

"Oh yes! You're really pretty so why not compliment you. Even today you're looking beautiful!" I smiled at her. She looked down at her hands blushing.

"Omo! Miss, You're prettier than I am." She said. I just swayed my hand as I chuckled.
"Please don't call me miss. I bet you're older than me." I said resting my arms on the reception desk.

"I just turned 22 two months back." She said.
"Wow you're as old as my sister."
"Oh really!"
"I'm 19 now. I'm sorry but I'm in a bit of hurry, can we hang out later? I'd love to get to know you!" I said excitedly. She nodded excitedly and gave me her business card.

"Call or text me whenever you're free, we can hang out!" I nodded and waved at her before going to the elevator.

I got into the elevator and pressed the 10th floor button. At every floor, the butterflies fluttered in my stomach. I was excited and nervous both.

*Ding*

The elevator door opened to the 10th floor. I walked though the passage.

5th door to the left! I kept reminding myself.

Okay here I was standing in front of Tae's studio. I was about to knock when I heard a woman's voice coming from inside, followed by a deep voice that belonged to Tae. Seemed like they were having a conversation.

I couldn't help but press my ear to the door trying to listen to their talk.

My heartbeat fastened at what I heard next.
