Part 52

Taehyung's POV:

On our way back home, I couldn't help but think why Jinae wants to separate Y/n and me. She was such a sweet girl when I met her first but now I don't know what's happened to her.

Thankfully, Y/n forgave me which I thought she wouldn't. I'm never gonna repeat this mistake again. It was stupid of me to fall for Jinae's words.
I smacked my head while mumbling a few words.

The car came to a halt and we all got off at the gate of our dorm house. While walking in Jimin talked to me about tomorrow's recording and I tried to listen to what he was saying but I was too drowsy to even comprehend what he said. Without talking much we all headed to our rooms.

I completed my night routine lazily and went under covers.

Next day🍡

Loud knocks woke up me up from my slumber. I groaned rolling on the bed.
"Taehyung-ah! Wake up! The manager is here! We have to leave in 10 minutes!" Jimin's voice said through the door.
"Yeahh! I'll be out in 5 minutes!" I yelled from the bed and sat up. The decision of having a movie night before recording was not a great one.

I dragged myself out of the bed and quickly got over with my shower and other things. I ruffled my wet hair with the towel and decided to leave them damp as we were running late and also because I looked cute in those wavy damp hair.

I took my bag and walked out to the living room. Everyone was at the table shoving breakfast in their mouth. I stood behind Kook and stole his toast.
"Hyung! That was mine!" He whined as I smirked at him. He glared at me cutely and toasted another bread.

"Boys! Come on get in the car!" Our Manager yelled from outside. Everyone yelled a yes and rushed outside. I quickly grabbed a small packet of strawberry milk and went to the car.

At the company

We entered the recording the room and started our work. I was hoping to bump into Jinae today so that I could talk with her about what she did.

The recording went smoothly. There were a few mistakes but rest all was smooth. Once we were done, we were told about a meeting that was going to be held in an hour so we all waited at the lounge and ordered lunch for us there.

Soon, we headed to the conference room for the meeting. We reached there and saw Bangpd and our manager sitting there. The meeting started and I tried to focus on it.

Y/N'S POV:
At the University

It was recess now and I had to talk with Jinae about what she did but every time I thought of approaching her, she had all these girls around her.

I took my plate and sat with Jaemin and Minah. These two kept talking about the project we had together while all my attention was at the table where Jinae was sitting.

"Earth to Y/n!" Minah's voice brought me out of my trance.
"Oh- sorry!" I smiled apologetically and shoved a spoonful of rice in my mouth.
Just when I looked up, I saw Jinae getting up and going away from her table. Okay now I can talk!

"Guys I'll be back in a few!" I said and got up to go after Jinae. I ignored the two confused faces and went after her.

I walked behind her and saw her entering the girls restroom. I quickly entered after her and checked the other stalls before closing the door. I waited for her to come out. I look like some bully right now.

Jinae opened the door and came out. She was surprised to see me while I kept glaring at her.
The astonishment was replaced by a smirk while she washed her hands. I folded my arms and looked at her.
