Part 67

Author's POV:

The elder brothers shared a glance with each other and then gave a nod to Taehyung. Taehyung sighed in relief and turned around to pace in the hallway.

Impatiently, looking around for the doctor they met previously. His heart thumping like crazy as he waited to meet you. The doctor's words playing in his mind on loop. He was scared, scared for you and the baby.

On the other hand, his mind went to the culprit because of whom you were suffering. But in the end of all this, he felt like he was the reason for all these happenings. Even though everyone told him it wasn't his fault, he couldn't help but think otherwise.

A nurse walked towards them and announced that they could meet you now. Taehyung was the first one to shoot up from his seat and follow the nurse.

"Only 2 people are allowed to go in at a time, we don't want to overwhelm the patient. She's already in a fragile condition so do not say anything that'll affect her condition. She's in room number 1306, kindly follow me." The nurse said and everyone followed her to the room.

After a few minutes walk and an elevator, they all finally reached the room.
"We're here. As I told you before, be careful. Also, we have a pet play pen on the veterinary department of this hospital. Can you please keep your dog there? Animals aren't allowed in this building." The nurse carefully said. She didn't want to upset the worldwide stars.

The boys understood and nodded to his instructions. "Where is this department exactly?" Scarlet asked. "The building next to this one is the veterinary hospital. Register him there for the day and you're good." She explained kindly. Scarlet nodded and thanked her as she left.

Now all of them were standing outside the room watching how Taehyung hesitated to go inside. His arm shaking as he reached the knob and as soon as he touched it, he would retract it.

Others looked at each other once and then everyone signalled Namjoon to step forward. Namjoon sighed and approached Taehyung's slumped figure. He put an arm around his shoulder and squeezed it once.

"What's wrong?" He asked the young man. "I can't- I can't hold myself in front of her. Seeing her lying there is going to crush me, Hyung." Taehyung cried hugging his older member. Namjoon patted his back slowly. "I'm going to break down in front of her, I'm sure of it." He mumbled against Namjoon's shoulder.

"Taehyung-ah, I can understand what you're feeling right now. But for now, you have to hold yourself together, be strong and go in there to see her. She must be waiting for you and do you want keep her waiting? Go in, right now she needs you, your love and your support more than anything." Namjoon's words seemed to have played a trick on Taehyung's mind. He broke away from the hug, wiped his tears, took in a deep breath and turned the doorknob with his shaky hands.

Hesitantly but a bit confidently, he went in the room. Others watched his figure go in as the door closed behind him. Namjoon walked back to the others.

"I hope everything goes well." Said Jungkook with teary eyes. He couldn't see his Taehyung Hyung and Y/n suffering. "It will. I'm positive about that." Jin spoke caressing Kook's round head. All others nodded in unison.

"Guys we haven't eaten anything. Can we get something to eat before one of us faints?" Jimin asked everyone. The boys nodded in agreement. "I'll sit here, just in case." Ara added and took a seat on the three seater metal chairs placed in the hallway. Scarlet was about to say something but got interrupted. "I'll accompany her. Bring two club Sandwiches for us." Namjoon sat beside her while others shared glances with each other knowing what was going on.

"I guess I'll take Tannie to the veterinary daycare thingy!" Scarlet said and spread her arms in front of Jimin for Tannie to come to her. Tannie ignored her and snuggled into Jimin's chest making Jimin laugh and Scarlet frown. "He doesn't like you Scar." Jimin teased her. She hit his arm jokingly. "Let's go, I'll come with you. Tannie is sad because his mom is not with him." Jimin said in a baby voice as he pulled Tan closer to his chest.
