Part 65

Y/n's POV:
16:30 (4:30pm)

"That's the reason you were skipping school.!" Minah exclaimed and I nodded in agreement. I told them everything that happened for the past few weeks and saying that they were shocked would be an understatement.

Jaemin handled the news pretty well but Minah couldn't. She felt sad that I won't be able to have fun and enjoy the college life but was very supportive of my decision.

"Let's order something to eat and decide on a movie!" Jaemin squealed. I grabbed the phone and placed an order of Chinese food for us while Jaemin and Minah argued over movie.

I watched them from the kitchen island while sipping on my glass of water and thought of how I was going to miss their bickering. I sighed deeply which made Jaemin turn to me.
"Take this and play something." He dropped the phone and remote on Minah's lap. He got up from his seat and walked to me in the kitchen.

He nudged my shoulder and stood beside me looking down at me with the purest admiring stare.
"What are you looking at?" His voice brought me out of my trance. I shook my head instantly and looked away. "Oh my god, don't tell me that you've fallen for me. You know it's too late now." He joked and pointed to my belly. I gasped and hit him on his arm. "It's not that! It's just that...I'm going to miss college. It's not even a year since it started and I have to take a long break from it, though I'll be studying from home. I'm going to miss you~"

He chuckled. Ruffling my hair, he took me in a side hug. "Don't worry, you'll be gone for very less time and we'll be visiting you every alternate day to give you all the gossip of our college." I giggled and nodded at his words. With that he walked me out to the living room.

I never thought I'd have such good guy friends. First, Jaehyun and then Jaemin, they both proved that a guy and a girl can be friends. I felt lucky.

19:00 (07:00pm)

I bid Jaemin and Minah a goodbye from the door of the apartment. They both promised to meet me first after they are back from their summer trip.

Once the elevator door closed, I moved back and pushed the door close. When I didn't hear the click of the door closing, I pushed it again with a little force but the foot that stopped it from closing caught my eye. I used more force to shut it but they were stronger.

In no time, that person shoved their way into the apartment and the force made me bump onto the arm of the couch. I was scared, not for myself but for my child.

I looked around to think of something and ran to the kitchen as I wrapped an arm around my tummy to protect it. I frantically searched around on the platform for a knife. Thankfully I found one.

"Who are you?!" I held my knife in front as protection to me. The person walked slowly towards me and that's when I got to take in their appearance. They wore a mask,hat and full black outfit. Every step they took towards me, I backed away.

"You really think you can get away from me huh?" Their sarcastic remark with a devilish laugh scared me even more.

This better be a dream.

"Whoever you are, what do you want from me?" My words choked in my throat.
"What do I want from you?! You are the one who stole away my everything. You thought-"
The person stopped talking and now they were the one who ran outside the apartment under a few seconds.
