Part 24

Author POV:

You all filled your stomachs with the delicious food. You never even imagined having food with BTS and that too made by Jin himself. You sat back with your hand resting on your tummy as you looked at others who were almost done.

You looked at Taehyung and Jungkook who were currently in a competition of 'who will be the first one to finish the drink.' Jimin did the countdown and they both went on drinking the Coke. You laughed as you saw them acting like kids pushing each other so that one of them would lose. Everybody at the table seemed to enjoy the younger ones action.

Jungkook won and there was a pouty Taehyung sitting beside you. He looked at you with puppy eyes and you patted his cheeks lightly while chuckling at his behaviour. The moment he got your attention he felt content and smiled cutely.

Taehyung leaned from the side to your ear.
"I have a surprise for you!" Taehyung excitedly whispered to you. His breath tickled your ear and his words made you excited.
You mouthed him a 'what?' but he just smiled at you.
You looked around the table to see everyone almost finished with their food. Seeing everyone talk and eat together made you miss your home and dinners with your family. You looked down playing with the hem of your top.

Taehyung noticed that your mood suddenly went down and wanted to ask you about it but he decided to lift your mood by giving you your favourite thing - Icecream!

He got up from his seat and made his way to the kitchen. Meanwhile, you felt him get up and immediately felt a bit lonely and empty. You looked around to see if you could see him.

"He went to the kitchen..he'll be back don't worry!" Jimin suddenly said to you in a teasing tone.
"Uh..no..it's just...nothing." You stuttered not knowing what to answer and you hated that. Jimin just laughed at your blushing face. Before you could come up with a good comeback, Taehyung came in.

"Guys!! It's Ice-cream time!!" Taehyung excitedly came into the room dragging everyone's attention. His hands were up holding the two bags of ice creams. Your eyes widened and inside you were dancing after seeing Ice-cream but soon turned into a little frown.
"Yah! Ice-cream is always later! First help me clean up the table and then we can have the Ice-cream in the living room." Jin told Taehyung. Taehyung and I both frowned but Jin was right so Tae nodded lightly and kept the Ice-cream in the fridge.

Everyone was done eating and most of them just kept their plates in the sink and sat in the living room. Meanwhile, Ara, Yoongi and Jimin were cleaning the table. They literally created a huge fuss on how guests shouldn't be working but Ara and you didn't listen. So they put a condition that only one of the two of you will help them and Ara was fast to answer and helped them.

Till then, you went to the restroom to pee. You shyly asked Hoseok where the bathroom was and he led you there. You thanked him and went inside.
After you were done with your business, you looked in the mirror once to see if you were looking alright or not. You applied lip balm and checked the toilet once and left the bathroom. By the time you went to the living room, you saw that the utensils were already in the dishwasher while a few dishes were still in the sink. You saw no one was there so headed towards the living room.

Everyone were settled on the long couch and bickered over something silly. You giggled at their childish behaviour and stood in front of the sofa. Since there was not much space to sit, you decided to sit on the beanbag beside it, but before you could go and sit there, You felt a jerk so you turned around and saw Taehyung holding your hand. You were genuinely surprised and his touch made you tickle in the pit of your stomach.

You looked at him with a puzzled expression. Your eyebrows furrowed as you tried figuring what he was doing. He gestured you to come and sit beside him. You shook your head and pointed out with your eyes that there was no space there. He pouted and shook his head and again asked you to sit beside him. All this while, you both didn't notice that someone was looking at you.
