"So first question..."
You mumbled, setting aside the clipboard much to Ables surprise.
"How come your not killing me right now?"
Interlacing your fingers you leaned forward.
"I'm sitting here with my guard down. So why not try it?"
Able almost looked offended.
"Because you deserve to die honourably in battle. Unlike the others here your a challenge. In fact you were the first to ever willingly take me on by yourself. The rest all screamed in terror like children or attempted to run."
Able leaned into the palm of his hand as of talking was boring him already.
"They're pathetic really."
You nodded, not really sure what to say.
"Okay then....Do you remember how long you've been this way?"
"What do you mean 'this way'?"
Shrugging your shoulders nonchalantly you replied.
"Like....in the artifact. Like after your bro-"
IMMEDIATELY a voice came over the intercom.
"Researcher Y/n we please ask that you refrain from that line of questioning."
You rolled your eyes.
Able seemed even more so annoyed.
Rethinking the question you thoughtfully rubbed your chin.
"What I mean is....do you remember the very first time you left the artifact?"
Able was quiet.
"I stopped trying to remember these things."
"Why?"
".................."
"Able?"
You questioned.
Suddenly Able stood, a blade materializing in his hand now.
You could practically feel the alarm from the researchers watching this go down through the cameras.
Still, you didn't budge an inch.
"Did you want to Spar now Able?"
Feeling quite ballsy, you stood up slowly, seeming to have no urgency about this.
"I will kill you."
He muttered lowly.
"You'll taste defeat."
Smiling innocently like a psycho, you replied.
"Oh really...? And this coming from the guy who's been trying to kill his brother and take revenge UNSUCCESSFULLY for well over Ten thousand years?"
You could almost hear the researchers scream in disbelief.
You were either A. Really confident or B. Had a death wish.
Able seemed to tremble with rage, his body glowing a soft purple hue.
Welp.
Just as Able started to run towards you, you whipped off your lab coat, throwing it in his face.
Able was ENRAGED at your words and even more so at the action.
He was growling in a practically demonic fashion, but as he furiously tore the jacket away-(shredding it in the process.)- you'd disappeared from his frontal vision.
Before he could react, using ever ounce of force in your body you could muster you slammed the very point of your elbow into the back of his neck as hard as you could.
And imagine your surprise when the SCP made a small noise and actually fell down seemingly unconscious.
"G-uh...."
*swish*
He almost landed on the floor but you swiftly caught him.
It was....
It was possible to knock him unconscious???
This SCP....
That survived a nuclear bomb...
Could be knocked out.
Interesting.
However a after laying him down gently on the floor you patiently waited a few minutes and of course Able began to stir.
"You..."
He began to growl, rubbing the back of his neck.
You slid your axe out of your belt.
"Stand up."
You interjected, making Able look over at you.
"Stand. Up."
You repeated more slowly.
The Scp almost looked....
Confused?
"You wanted to fight me now get your ass up."
The researchers and guards watching were on the edge of their seats.
Able seemed to glare at the weapon, identifying it as the one to have ended him the last time.
Your calm demeanor seemed to annoy him even more and once he charged forward.
