(Alrighty folks! Since the books getting pretty serious I thought a comic relief chapter would be needed! This little side story takes place AFTER all the events that occur in this book. Enjoy!)
"Alpha Nine, do you copy?"
Iris reached up and spoke into the earpiece.
"Yes, subject is in line of sight."
"Good, continue to follow but do not engage yet. We want to get the subject in an area more closed off."
Iris glanced over at Able and nodded.
Just as Able opened his mouth to question what the commander had said a the sound of a grenade exploding from below made them both jump.
"Shit....what the fuck is that about???"
Iris walked over to the window cautiously.
"Oh..."
"What?"
"Uh, Able?"
"Yeah????"
"It looks like one of ours has engaged. He's chasing after the subject."
Able sighed, walking over to the window.
"Alrighty who's this idiot-"
