My eyes pop open, taking in my surroundings. Crisp, fall-like air, light breezes, cloudy but not dark. Perfect for traveling. I crawl around Rose and straighten out my packs. Yawning, I scribble a mark of the day and where we are on a scroll. Sitting down, I get a fire going and the water boiling. While I'm waiting, I begin to rinse my shirt out when a piece of paper falls out of the fabric and floats to the ground. It's a note in very formal handwriting.
