People yell angrily at me as the crowd grows. I finally slipped up. I slipped on some mud and softened my fall with airbending. Naturally, the rumor spread like a wildfire.
Banished. That's what I am. I ran away from the Fire Nation at the tender age of 12 when they found out I was the avatar. All they talked about was how I would definitely win the war, making the Fire Nation rule the world. The Earth Kingdom took me in and raised me. It sickens me how they would throw me away like trash just because of where I come from. Or how potentially powerful I can become.
"I'll show them someday," I mumble grumpily to no one in particular. I walk through some wilderness, and honestly have no idea where I am. All I have is the clothes on my back and some water.
They could've at least given me some food or something. But they're probably hoping I'll starve to death. Everyone is terrified of the avatar. They think that once the Fire Nation locates her, or me, then they'll have no hope. But I'm going to make that change.
