The mechanic takes another half an hour or so. By that time, Rose has ready sketched out several pictures of herself and some with me. She also sketched Evan, the bounty hunters, but drew him with a really heavy moustache and wrinkled, which made me rolling on the floor in laughter. Rose has this way with danger. She could turn around and laugh at it in the face. And when she laughed she was really pretty....
Oh stop it Nathan.
Ok.
Opening my eyes, I quickly zipped and washed my hands, then exited the restroom and headed to the table where Rose was waiting.
I sit down in the booth.
"I ordered Sam-wie-ches for both of us," Rose gushes, stumbling over the pronunciation. "The waitress says its the new food craze!"
I look at her a little strangely. "Sam-wee-cheez? Well that sounds interesting."
Rose shrugs, not deflated in the least. "We'll just wait and see. I heard it's really good."
I nod. Then lowering my voice, I say, "I think I can heal now."
One of Rose's eyebrows props itself up. "Okay," she says. "Not my fault it you force bad Vaatu energy into me and make me turn evil."
I blush. "Don't worry. That will never happen, as long as I'm alive."
"Good," Rose says, staring at her lap. My eyes catch her arm moving around frantically under the booth.
"Watcha drawing?" I ask.
"Just this picture of your care-giver." She replies casually back.
"Wait-what?"
"1 second," she says, and her arm starts moving even faster. Then she stops and smiles, obviously happy with what she sees.
She slides the sketchbook from out of her lap and props it up in front of me.
The effect it has on me is immediate, and I burst into laughter. The whole of the restaurant shifts uncomfortably in their seats; I sound like a madman.
