"I'm a firebender. I guess you're not as good as you think you are," I snap angrily. My hands fidget as they always do when I lie or when I get nervous.

"You can stop being so abrasive. Tell me the truth," he retorts.

I quickly climb out of the tub. He tries to stop me again with a stream of water. I roll my eyes and make a little torch with my index finger. I sever the stream and keep walking.

"Wait! Please just stay," he calls. I sigh and whip my head around.

"Why?" I inquire.

He seems hesitant to answer. But I feel a strong urge to get out of here. He's suspicious, and I really don't feel like getting captured. I'm about to make a break for it.

"Sorry. But I can't tell you that," I say before he can start. And with that, I'm out the door.
