Luna plops down right next to the entrance of my tent, blocking the moonlight out.

I glare at her furry side irritably. I don't like being unable to see where Nathan is, and would have to shove her out of the way to get out. Or, at least, yell until she moved. I'd have to be superhuman to make a grizzly bear dog budge.

My eyes flutter closed, exhaustion sweeping over me. My last thought is considering kissing Nathan again tomorrow. But maybe I should wait for him to.

Morning seems to arrive too fast. Luna has her giant head inside my tent, licking my face eagerly. I groan. I sit up and stretch, but something feels different. Odd.

"They're not usually like that! But seriously, something weird is going on. I'm not supposed to feel this much in my leg," I protest.

I try to stand, but almost fall face first after being unable to support myself with both legs. Nathan catches me, probably expecting me to fall.

"You think the mechanic did this?" Questions Nathan darkly.

"H- he couldn't have. I would've felt effects earlier if he did," I reply.

Unless he just triggered something this morning. I gulp. The thought of him being able to shut down my leg and maybe even all my muscles is terrifying.

"Has that red light always been there?" Nathan inquires, pointing to my ankle.

"Red light?" I echo, bewildered,
