I laugh. "Well, we might have a bit of a problem then."

"You know what I mean. Move it like this," he chuckles.

I watch intently. His movements are relaxed and graceful. Seems easy enough.

I glare at the water and hold out my hands. I try to be relaxed at first, but end up tense and angry as the water doesn't budge. After a few minutes of this, Nathan clears his throat awkwardly.

"Rose? You look like you're going to have a stroke," says Nathan awkwardly.

I glance at him angrily. "I don't understand. It's not moving," I murmur.

"Don't worry. You won't get it immediately. It might take years for you to master it."

"I don't have years! I need to hurry! How do I bend this stupid element?"

"We've had a long day. We'll start again tomorrow."

I groan. "We barely started today."

We sink into our sleeping bags and stare at the sky quietly as dozens of starts begin to come out. Despite all the things that happened today, I'm wide awake.

"Do you miss the water tribe?"I ask, breaking the peaceful silence.

"Very much. You miss your home?" He answers.

"No," I lie.

Somehow, I manage to drift off. It takes a while of listening to Nathan's snores, though. I glance at him. I can see his face in the moonlight, relaxed. All the tension from earlier experiences are erased. I sigh dreamily, but quickly look away when I notice what I'm doing.

Seemed like he enjoyed that kiss, too. I think before I close my eyes.
