My eyes widen as I see how bad the cuts are. I whip out some water from the entire clearing around us, leaving it a rusted black. I surround Rose with the water, letting it float around. Oh please, Raava let this adrenaline rush get me to heal.. I say a silent prayer and throw all my energy into it.

Rose shudders, like she's getting and electric shock. The water glows a dark red instead of light blue. I gasp and immediately stop. I heave to my feet, and bloodbend the blood so it stays inside her hand. Hopefully she hasn't lost enough blood to pass out.

"Rose?" I yell at her weak body.

"Nathan?" she murmurs back.

"Rose," I whisper frantically, "It's gonna feel weird but just work with me." I focus on her body. I reach inside, and I squeeze a little, reducing how much pain she'll get. Rose's eyes widen into giant orbs. I ignore her out of panic. Still squeezing, the veins in my forehead begin to pop as I lift her up and set her on Luna. I've never done this before. I jump on Luna's back and scurry her off, letting Luna run as fast as she can away from the bounty hunters.

I stare at Rose's now limp figure. I stare at the holes cut into her hands. I remember what happened when I tried to heal her. Rose needs to get to a doctor, or she'll die from all the blood she's lost.
