My eyes follow him, my face twisted in an irritable scowl. But when the door closes, eery silence follows. I sigh and look down guiltily. I was being a jerk. I am acting like a child. And now I'm alone.

I'll apologize later. I decide.

But there's a big problem. Nathan can't heal me. I need to be healed, and soon. I glare at the water on my bedside, holding out my trembling hands.

"Bend! Heal! Anything!" I mutter angrily. Nothing happens. Zilch. Why can Nathan bend water so well, where I can't even make it move an inch? I tug my IV out with my teeth, unable to hold anything in between my fingers.

I whistle loudly, putting my fingers in my mouth. This is how I call Luna. Luckily, she has hypersensitive hearing. I hear a howl, and some nurses scream outside my door. I smirk. Luna comes bursting through it, sniffing me thoroughly from worry. I barely manage to climb on her back.

"Get Nathan," I croak. She sniffs for a moment, and eventually finds Nathan. Luna drags him out of the building. He struggles a little.

"What the heck?! I could've just climbed on her back, you know," he snaps. I make Luna release him and he hops on.

"I- I'm sorry I yelled at you. I just hate it when you act like I'm a little kid or something," I murmur, cringing at the words.

"Don't sweat it. No offense, but you do make irrational decisions. I'm just trying to help."

I clench my jaw angrily, not saying a word. Way to ruin my sincere apology.

"Whatever. We're going to find a waterbender that can actually heal me, and a mechanic," I grumble.

I don't know why I'm so angry. Nathan seems taken aback as well.

We watch the flaming sun disappear behind the vibrant trees quietly. Beautiful. I sigh, my eyelids drooping slightly. They nearly connect. All I want to do is sleep, but that wasn't a part of my plan. I think both Nathan and I know that this will be a long night.
