Can had returned the keys to Sanem's room and was about to walk out the door when he heard his name called. He truly almost wanted to pretend that he didn't hear her call him but he was afraid if he did she would start snooping around and find out that Sanem was in the hotel.
He turned slowly and faced Huma "Gunaydin, Huma."
"Can, what are you doing here?"
"I was having breakfast with a client, not that it is any of your business."
"Oh, Can. Please, don't act this way."
"What way should I act? You have caused more problems in my life since you came back this time then you ever have. You came here on the pretense that you wanted us to work through things then completely caused me to hurt worse than I have in my whole life. There is nothing left for you in my life. I do not want to see you ever again."
With that he turned and walked out the door, hearing her calling his name.
It was early evening when Sanem finally pulled into the estate. She was tired and glad to be home. She pulled around back and parked her car. She waved as she saw Bulut walking toward her.
"Need help with your bags?"
"Thanks, that would be nice, I am very tired, it has been a long, trying day.""I was just headed to Mirhiban's for some wine, Deniz will be there also, why don't you join us?"
"That's sounds perfect, I could use a glass of wine and some friends close by. Let me wash my face and I will meet you in a few minutes."
He turned and walked away, not knowing that for the first time all day Sanem felt safe and sheltered. She wanted to talk to Mirhiban about Huma and if she let the others in on a few things then they would watch out for her also. She let the peace of being at the farm wash over.
