Hearing my words

chapter 37

"And who Leyla? WHO?"

"And, and Aylin." she said quickly.

"What? What did you say?"

She started to repeat herself but Emre headed for the door as Can was on the phone asking for several security guards to come to his office.

"Emre, wait until security is here to back us up. What the hell is Huma trying to do?" he turned to Deren "Deren! Get our baba on the phone and Leyla please call Metin, I need to know what we can do to keep these three women out of this agency. "

Both women hurried pulled out their phones and started dialing. There was a knock on the door and Can motioned for the security team to come in. He quickly explained to them what was going on and that he needed them to come with him and to remove the three women in the conference room, if any of them caused a fuss, he wanted them to call the cops and have them arrested.

"Sir, I am not sure we can have them arrested without cause."

"Oh, there will be cause, I am about to throw these women out and they will be banned from entering this agency ever again and that includes Huma. One of them should not even be in Istanbul, she is breaking the agreement she signed."

Deren had handed her phone to Emre and he was discussing what was going on with Aziz. After he handed the phone back to Deren, he told Can their baba would be headed back to Istanbul.

They all immediately walked out and headed to the conference room. When they got to the conference door, Can stopped.

"I want everyone to wait out here until Emre or I call you in, Please."  They all nodded their ok. "Just be ready to move fast."

He opened the door and allowed Emre to walk in first, then Can followed his brother through the door, leaving it halfway open.

"Ms. Teken, I am Can Divit and this is my brother Emre." he said in introduction "I am not going to waste our time or yours but we do not have any reason to want to do business with your company."

This seemed to shock the woman "I am sorry but I don't understand."

She looked around at the other women in the room. "Is there a problem I do not know about?" she asked.

"Evet! None of these woman that you are partners with are allowed in this agency. Aylin, I didn't think you would be so stupid as to break any of the conditions of our agreement." He turned to look at the confused woman "You see Aylin was found guilty of corporate espionage. She spied on our company and attempted to present  our ideas as her own. She also used blackmail and fraud in her attempts. The only reason she is not in prison is because she agreed to sale us back the shares of our agency that she obtained illegally and we would not press charges but also part of that agreement was she would no longer be in Istanbul.  As far as Ceyda, she doesn't seem to know what sexual harassment is and has been demeaning to several of our employees."

Ms. Teken seemed appalled at this news. Can turned and looked at Huma "As far as Ms.Huma, she has been told because of her interference with both our business and personal lives that we do not want her in the agency."

He looked at Emre "Does that about cover it?"
 
"I believe so." He opened the door and asked the security guards to come in and escort the women out of the office. Ms. Teken stood "I am so sorry, I had no idea. Huma is a friend of my Anne and my Anne approached her to help me get my business off the ground."

"I am sorry also. If not for those three women, we would be honored to work with you."

She stood and shook both their hands and headed toward the door. Emre stopped her with his question "Can I ask you why you became partners with these women?"

"What? They are not my partners! I knew Ceyda from school and she said she was friends with Can and she knew he would do anything for her so I allowed her to come along. As far as the other woman, Aylin, was it, she came with Huma, who was here only for moral support. I own this company all on my own except for the board members who have some shares."

"I am sorry they deceived you." Emre said, "they seem to be very good at persuading people to believe their lies."

Can had stepped aside for her to leave, Emre looked at his brother. "We have your card if we should change out minds about working with you."

She thanked the brothers again and then said her goodbyes.  She walked toward the outside door and pulled her phone out.

She laughed as the person on the other end answered "It worked like a charm, they believed I didn't have a clue as to what you were up to." she laughed again as the person on the other end said something. 

"I shall meet you at the restaurant in a few moments, have me a martini ready please." She closed her phone and hailed a taxi not paying attention to those around her.
