Very short but important Chapter!!!
"Polen, you must return to Istanbul."
"No, Huma, Can has made it quite clear that he does not love or want me, he never really loved me so I have humilated myself enough. He was right I had very little self-respect and I allowed you to use my love for Can to do stupid things."
"You don't understand, he needs you now."
"I am sorry, but if Can needs me then he also needs to call me. Goodbye Huma." Polen hung up the phone before Huma could say another word. How had she let this woman use her for so long, how had she not seen that the things she had done hurt Can so badly, she knew the story of his childhood and how Huma had left him. But, what no one knew was that she knew a lot more than she was telling because people loved to gossip and she listened when they spoke.
She just needed to decide if she should call Can and tell him what Huma was up to now. After everything she did to him and to Sanem, would he even want to talk to her. She went in and turned the shower on, she would decide what to do later but now she needed to get ready to go to work.
