Sanem had decided to work in the garden today, getting the last of the vegetables in before the weather turned colder. She hadn't noticed when Mirhiban walked up. The older woman watching her pulling weeds along with the vegetables.

"I am not sure who you are mad at but I am sure it isn't those plants." she said.

Sanem turned and looked at her friend "I am worried, I am sure he is busy with what is going on, but I haven't heard from Can."

"Call him."

"I don't want to bother him."

"I am sure he will be happy to hear from you."

Sanem  frowned, she knew Can had a lot on his mind right now but she was truly worried about him.

"What is going on? Did something else happen with Huma?"

"Apparently the silent partner of Ms. Teken is Fabri"

Sanem went on to explain what CeyCey had overheard and how he had followed the woman to see who she was meeting. She went on to let her know that Aziz had arrived back in town today in time to hear CeyCey telling Can about what he heard and saw.

"How is Fabri not still in jail?"

"I don't know, I haven't heard from Can since CeyCey told him the news."

"Send Can a text and let him know you are thinking of him, I am sure he will appreciate it."

She did text Can and he text her right back that he was sorry he hadn't had a chance to call her but Metin had arrived and they were trying to figure out what was going on and what they could about it. He asked if she would be ok if he came to the farm that night but it might be late.

She text him that he was more than welcome, she would have dinner with Mirhiban and if he was late the door would be open.

Mirhiban told Sanem that over dinner she needed to tell her something important but she might need a glass or two of wine to get through the story. Sanem told her she would bring an extra bottle then left to go shower.

Sanem walked over to Mirhiban's house and the two friends cooked dinner together, after they ate and cleaned the kitchen, they went out to sit by the fire pit. 2 bottles of wine went with them.

Sanem waited patiently for her friend to tell her story, she didn't want to push because she felt that what she would be told would change a lot of things and she wanted Mirhiban to feel comfortable when she told her.

Finally, Mirhiban started to talk.

"Remember when I told you I had a great love that I left because of someone?"

Sanem shook her head yes "Well, that someone was Huma!"

Sanem's eyes grew big but she didn't say a word, she wanted Mirhiban to set the pace of telling her story. "I was straight out of college, young, naive and hopeful. I started working at a new ad agency, it was just an assistant's job but I knew I would learn a lot. So, I did my best, stayed late, took on jobs that no one else wanted to be bothered with. Finally, the boss took notice of work ethics. He promoted me to his assistant." She paused and took a large sip of wine.

"He was wonderful, he taught me so much, he was patient and kind. Never had a bad word to say to anyone and always thanked everyone for the job they did that day." She took another sip of wine. "We had to work late a few nights and he would order in dinner for us. He always made sure if he couldn't drive me home, that someone did, even though I lived close enough to walk."

She sighed "I fell in love with him and I thought he loved me also. He said he did but as soon as Huma walked into the agency, he couldn't take his eyes off her. She had this air about her that made you take notice of her. She was beautiful and I assume still is.  But, her beauty was only skin deep, she was mean to the staff, demanding that they wait on her hand and foot, a few people even quit to not have to deal with her."
