Chapter 35

Can's POV

I am up early trying to get in a little bit of a work out before going to the office, Deren has scheduled a meeting with a new client and for the first time in a while I am excited to be working on a new campaign. I am even trying to think of ways to get Sanem to help.

Dinner last night had been perfect, everyone in a good mood, talking and laughing. I was even able to hold Sanem's hand under the table. I was a little sad she wouldn't let me drive her home but I couldn't push it as I want her to trust me again and I know pushing her right now would be a set back for our relationship. 

I finished my workout and took a shower, went to the kitchen to fix a cup of tea as Emre was walking out of his room.

"Abi, you are up early?"

"Evet, Deren has a meeting with a new client scheduled and I want to get some things done before the meeting. Do you want to join us?"

"I would love to, I will take a shower and then head to the office."

I walked off telling Emre I would see him soon.

As soon as I walk into the office, I am pumped, working on new campaigns and coming up with new ideas always gets me excited. As soon as Deren comes in I am going to find out what all she knows about the campaign.

I fix a cup of tea and walk into my office, I settle down and finish some details on other projects so I won't be distracted later on this morning.

An hour later Deren is knocking on my door and I motion for her to come in.

"Gunaydin, Can."

"Gunaydin.  So are we ready for this new client?"

"As much as we can be."

I look at her, surprised that she is not offering me more details, usually Deren has more information than is needed. "What do you mean?"

"Well, all I know is that the company is new and coming out with a line of sports clothing for women and they want a campaign that will want women to wear their clothes not only to work out in but also to wear daily."

"Who is this client?" I am worried now because all I have in my mind are the words that Sanem had said about Huma's phone conversation.

"The person I spoke with was a Marifetli Tekin and the company is new, I believe she said the name of the company was Cesur kadin, daring woman."

"So this will be the first campaign for the company?"

"Evet. She said her board members liked what we did for Compass Sports and decided to talk to us first before deciding if they wanted to offer the opportunity to other agencies."

"Ok, get me all the information you can on the company and the board members."

"Here" Deren said as she handed him a file "You forget I know you well. You have an hour before we are to meet. I will come and get you after they arrive."

"Thanks." Something is bugging me but I couldn't put my finger on it maybe after I read the file and meet the company representative I will feel better. I start reading the file and soon gets lost in my work.
