Chapter 71

Aziz and Can took that Friday off, the three of them spent every minute they could together. Can had so many questions, ones that he knew he might never get answers to but he was getting to know Mihriban better. Sanem stayed by his side. Making sure he had something to eat, a shoulder to lean on. Aziz had called Emre to tell him what was going and Sanem had called her Anne, who wanted to come and be with Can. Sanem told her to given them a couple of days and then she would come get them and bring them to the farm. She would first have to ok it with Mihriban but now that everything was out in the open, she was sure she wouldn't care.

Right now Can was napping and she had decided to take a walk around the property.  She needed to feel the sun's warmth on her face. She filled her lungs with the sea air, she believed that both had healing powers. She knew it would take Can a while to accept what had happened but he already loved Mihriban because she had taken care of Sanem when she needed a place to hide out, so she understood that soon Can would love her as his mother. 

The hardest part was understanding Huma and her hate. Sanem heard something behind her and turned to find Can walking her way. She gave him her biggest smile. He still took her breath away. He walked over and placed her in a bear hug, his nose in her neck, his fingers running through her hair.

"Kalbim, my heart, are you ok?" she said.

"Better. Thank you for taking care of me, for being here with me."

"Where else would I be?" she answered. If possible she thought he held her even tighter.

"What is going on?"

"I need to get back to work, tomorrow is Tuesday, I can't stay in this self-pity mode any longer."

She laughed "There is my Can DIvit. Well, then I wil go get my Anne because she is drving me crazy with her worries for you. She said and I quote "Her son needed her." 

Can smiled, he loved Mekvibe with all his heart, she had become his mother since he had started dating Sanem. She had always given him good advice, words of wisdom and he knew if she could get to Huma, she would kick her ass.

"Can I ride with you?"   

 she smiled "Of course."

They walked back to the cabins, told Aziz they were going to go get Sanem's parents and meet up with Emre to bring them to the farm for dinner.

"Then I will help Mihriban to start the food." he turned to walk away then turned back "Can"

"Evet"

"She loves you, never stopped, just take time and get to know her and I know your heart will love her back."

"Baba, I already do." With that he and Sanem turned and walked to their car.
