Sanem had sat with her new friends until late evening, having drank a little too much wine, she decided to sleep in. They had talked late into the night, her telling her concerns about Huma and what would happen when she found Sanem was back in town. Bulut had sat an listened not offering too much in advice. Mirhiban had told Sanem she had known someone exactly like Huma, what she hadn't told the young girl yet was that she actually knew Huma and she was the reason she had hidden out on the farm. She knew she would have to tell her but she wanted Sanem to feel safe on the farm and to know that she wouldn't let Huma do anything to harm her.

Can text Sanem to make sure she had made it to her new house and to tell her he had ran into Huma but had told her he had breakfast with a client. She told him she was sorry she hadn't  changed hotels but she couldn't run from Huma, if they ran into each other she would just have to face whatever happened.  He text he was proud of her.

Can was sitting on the veranda at his baba's home when Emre walked out and sit beside him.

"How did yesterday go after we left?"

"Pretty good, we talked for a while and I drove her to her hotel." he stopped and looked at Emre "She happened to be staying where Huma is. They didn't see each other but Sanem did see her in the hotel lobby."

Before he could tell Emre more, Emre's phone rang, he looked at the caller id and shook his head.

"Good morning, mother." he said as he looked at Can, who was shaking his head no.

"Emre, have you spoken to your brother today?"

"Evet, I spoke to him this morning" he said as he smiled at Can.

"Who did he meet yesterday?"

Emre stumbled over his words "Wh What? What do you mean who did he meet?"

"I ran into yesterday, he said he had a breakfast meeting with a client. Who was it?"

"I don't know, Can does not always tell me who he meets and if it isn't an account we have or have decided to take, I am sure he won't mention it."

"You need to stay on top of things! No wonder you father wanted Can to run the business."

This caused Emre to become angry "Is there something else you want because if not I am busy."

"Don't you get an attitude with me also."

"Look! Can and I are running the agency together, finally, and now with no interference. Where are you?"

"I am still in Istanbul. What do you mean, where am I?"

"I  thought you would be going back to Switzerland."

"Oh, no. You may have kicked me out of the house but you cannot force me out of Istanbul"

"I don't care if you are in Istanbul as long as you stay out of our lives and business." He then hung up before she could say anything else.

"I am proud of you for standing up to her." Can said.

"Well, if I hadn't allowed her to come back into our lives, you and Sanem might still be together." he looked out at the pool "I am sorry, Abi, I did so many things because I was jealous."

"Emre, I was in the wrong also, I should have told you about baba's illness, but he didn't want you to know but I told him he should tell you. All he wanted was for us to work together, I am not sure why you thought different."

"I over heard you talking the night before he left."

"You are probably like me and didn't stick around to hear the whole conversation. He wanted me to run the creative and you to work the financial. He thought we each had our strong points and working together would make us even stronger. I am sorry that you didn't hear all that."

"I am sorry I didn't stay long enough to hear it all, instead, I agreed to work with Aylin and nearly ruined the agency and our relationship."

They both sit quietly for a few minutes and then Can said "Come on, I will fix us some breakfast." The two got up and went inside.

Sanem had walked to the dock, she loved the sea, the waves were calming and she needed calm after seeing Huma the night before. She knew there was no way anyone could know where she was staying but it still caused her anxiety to think of Huma and what she was planning for Can.
