Huma had a nagging feeling that something was off, she was concerned that Can was back with Sanem, but, she knew that wasn't it because she had seen Sanem on the news. They had interviewed her regarding a couple of book readings she would be doing and then she stated that she would be retiring back to her home to work on her next novel.
Still she could't shake the feeling that something wasn't right. She text Fabri, that they needed to meet and then called Aylin.
"Huma"
"Aylin, we need to meet, I just have this bad feeling that something is not right."
"Everything is planned, no one suspects anything. Marifetli says they are going to meet for dinner, Can, Emre and Aziz. While they are there I will break into the agency and if they have anything that they can harm us with, I will destroy it."
"I know, but if any of us get caught."
"Look, you and Fabri will at the restaurant, it has been arranged where you will be seated away from Marifetli's group but can still watch what is going on. I have paid someone very well to get me into Farki Haraki tonight without being detected. I will have enough time to go through both Can and Emre's office and then I will show up for dinner with an old friend, hopefully, in time for them to see me."
"Ok. I guess I am nervous this will not work."
"Oh, it will work and we will be in charge once again." she paused "By the way, were you watching the news tonight?"
"Evet."
"So you seen Sanem's little interview. She is gone and will never come back to Istanbul."
"Well, I must say that makes me extremely happy."
They hung up the phone, Aylin text Fabri that Huma might become a problem. He text her back that she wouldn't be a problem he knew too much about things she had done and would be willing to use it against her to keep her in order.
Ah, Aylin thought to herself, blackmail, my favorite game.
