A cute story about childhood friends!
Ok. I personally think that both ML and FL are Gary and Mary Sue's, however it doesn't take away the enjoyment of the novel. Atleast this story doesn't include toxic drama nor rude antagonists. Actually there is no love rival at all. No drama, only fluff.
Majority of the story focused on the development of FL and ML's relationship.
I can't say anything about FL and ML since they are practically the standard protagonist, however they aren't unlikable. They made me smile nonstop and occasionally squeal.
One of their funny scenes was when FL princess carried ML (˃̣̣̥▽˂̣̣̥).
I really like the realism in FL's career. Since she is an athlete she couldn't eat everything she wanted, she couldn't join some activities, she had recurring injuries, her life revolved around training, etc.
I mean.. the fact that someone that young could win an olympic gold medal isn't new irl. I researched.
However I disliked the fact that all she won was gold medals. Like silver and bronze is still a medal? And about the sick ML plot, I find it stupid that his family didn't even ask his supposed illness. That's just plain dumb.
So yeah, just a reminder. Their relationship started only after so many chapters and afterwards it didn't show much scenes of it. I personally don't mind but I dunno about you.
