Title: Transmigrating to Become the Boss's Little Fairy
Type: Chinese Novel
Author: Chun Dao Han
Chapters: 98 + 21 extras
Description:
In her previous life, Qi Ying had been saved from the bandits' cave by the General, and subsequently became the General's concubine. The General never lost a single battle, and songs praising him spread far and wide. In the end, however, the General was mortally wounded, and died on the battlefield. When news of the General's death reached Qi Ying's ears, she hung herself from the beams without a moment's hesitation - only to discover, upon waking up, that she has transmigrated to become a 17-year-old deaf and mute Qi Ying.
----------------
The youthful girl is neither able to hear any sound, nor is she able to speak; and yet, her eyes were as beautiful as the pure, white moonlight, and her character was extremely easygoing. One day, she met a cold and aloof male youth, whom everybody was afraid and wary of - her General.
----------------
The Ji Rang in everybody's eyes:
Horridly short tempered! Extremely rich! It's best not to cross paths with him!
The Ji Rang in Qi Ying's eyes:
The General is simply executing Heaven's will and punishing the evildoers! The General is simply robbing the rich to feed the poor! The General is superb and amazing!
----------------
Ji Rang pressed Qi Ying against the wall:-
Qi Ying: "Oh, when a boy presses a girl against the wall, he has every intention of kissing her, mua~!"
Ji Rang: ???
----------------
"Ji Rang, did you really bring your girlfriend along to spectate our fight? Are you looking down on me right now?"
"I'm not looking down on you. I just want to let my little fairy observe how I punish evildoers and reward kind people."
----------------
Everyone's afraid of Ji Rang;
Nobody loves Ji Rang, except for Qi Ying.
Thoughts:
Another fluffy novel! It made me squeel and giggle like crazy.
I am a huge fan of highschool and college romance (because of my lack of love life lol), so it was kind of inevitable I liked this, especially since most characters are lovable.
I really like both FL and ML's personality. I like how FL is not the typical dense female lead. She may have a soft personality, but she is in no way weak. She also doesn't force ML to speak out his problems out of "concern."
ML, on the other hand, is the typical bad boy, however what I like about him is that he isn't a genius who, despite not studying, can easily snatch the first place on exams. He studied, found it hard, learned, then gradually went up in ranks.
It was very funny how he saw english in math (cause sin-cos-tan y'know?)
He also gets embarrassed/flustered easily when it comes to FL (he literally runs away). Dude is honestly too cute, a stark contrast to his bad boy reputation.
Another thing I appreciate is how traumas didn't simply disappear when they met their partner. It actually took some time before healing.
Also special mention to FL's family and their friends! I really liked them, they were funny and caring.
So yeah. 90 chapters are dedicated to their highschool life, 8 for college and 21 extras (has a lot of one shots of the leads in different settings). I am more than satisfied.
It is officially my favorite school life novel. Guess I'm still a sucker for the bad boy trope.
Try it!
