Title: Wait for a Summer
Type: Chinese Novel
Author: Ruo Ming Yi
Chapters: 48
Description:
[You walk all the way, I look up all the way.
How many summers should I wait to let you know I love you. ]
In the last youth of life, talk about the most unripe romance.
The local taste of love between an older woman and a younger man, sensitive neighbor older sister VS Mensao neighbor younger brother.
Thoughts:
Older FL WOOOO!!!
I like FL's character. She isn't an iceberg nor is she a ball of sunshine, she's just calm and mature. She becomes talkative with close friends and silent with strangers. She also isn't a saint/goodie two shoes.
And the ML is freaking cute! It was so obvious that he liked her and she noticed, but because of their age gap and the title "childhood friends", she didn't believe her thoughts. I mean.. 5 years is a big gap when you're young.
Actually i'm quite glad they didn't end up together earlier. Cuz it's kinda illegal bitches.
This story is cute and made me smile but not squeal. It has more of a calm and steady romance, no plot twist or anything.
You'd actually notice how FL gradually warms up to ML again, just be patient.
A bit boring but I like it.
However I think that it is a bit short. I think that it should've had atleast 2 more chapters for its ending. I am NOT satisfied.
So yeah. I enjoyed it but I know our taste is different so you might find it boring, but try it!
The translation is not done and there is no MTL for this so you'd have to google translate it (super understandable btw). Just search the chinese name of the author 若明翼 (can be copied in novelupdates) then tap this〖守望〗 等一个夏天.
Then huala! The novel!
