Title: Predatory Marriage

Type: Korean novel

Author: Saha

Chapters: 300 + 68 extras (ongoing)

Description:

Princess Leah wrote a su*cide note ahead of her wedding.

It was because she was certain that she would die after the wedding night; a miserable end of a princess who devoted her life to the country and to the royal family.

But before giving up her life, Leah planned her last revenge to the family, one that would surely leave them in ruins even after she became a cold corpse.

She would bring them shame by being a non-virg*n bride.

"Why did you throw away your first experience? Don't you just want to run away?"

"I... I want to die." Leah impulsively confided to the man she slept with for one night.

Yay! Korean Smut!

Truth be told, my expectations were low for this one

Truth be told, my expectations were low for this one. The first few chapter threw me off and the sex was kind of iffy, but the more I read it, the more I liked the characters.

I finished the novel in one sitting, that was how engrossed I was with the characters and plot.

I really liked how ML is such a loving partner to FL, especially since he isn't just characterized as "sex-obsessed". Like sure, he still has the stamina of a horse, but he actually has a personality outside of it, he listens to her requests most of the time (in bed as well), and their relationship isn't just based on lust. It may have started with sex, but their romance was cute.

I also appreciated how he wasn't a playboy who fucked the whole kingdom (looking at you ML in Lucia). It was not clarified if he was a virgin or not, so I'd like to believe that his first time was with FL. Even if it wasn't, there was no other woman drama at all.

Moving on, I liked how FL grew more confident and happy as the novel progressed. After a few times, she also reciprocates at sex and tells ML what she wants. I also liked how the author handled FL's talents and trauma. They somehow found a way to make the plot holes and inconsistencies work. The plot twist was insane, I was shook.

I am glad the novel wasn't just 300 chapters of pure smut. The plot picked up midway and I was intrigued by it, which is why I am recommending it to you guys right now.

Ngl, there are still some iffy sex scenes and exaggeration in description, but it was still enjoyable. ML is currently my fave kn male lead (he's just so supportive and caring I can't). The side characters were funny as well!

It has a manhwa adaptation!

To be honest the art is good, but it's not my cup of tea (personally). But yeah, try it!

 But yeah, try it!
