Title: Little One Tears the Villain's Script
Type: chinese novel
Author: Taozi Wanwan
Chapters: 132 + 18 extras
Description:
Jiang Xiaoman was bound to a system when she was three years old. The system told her that she was the lost daughter of a wealthy family assigned to play the cannon fodder in this script. The fake daughter that her parents adopted was the heroine of the story.
Jiang Xiaoman blinked her eyes and asked, "What is a cannon fodder?"
System: "You all live in a book, and everyone is assigned their role. From now on, you should keep on blackening and be a bad child. Do you see that little boy? He has a bigger role than you, in the future, he will become the big bad villain. Why don't you bully him now, and show him up real good!"
The naïve Jiang Xiaoman picked a handful of colorful flowers and stuffed them into his hands. "I'm showing you something really good!"
System: "..."
Darling, you got it all wrong! Not showing him something good that way!
The little boy: "I don't need friends, I don't need company. I'm just a burden that no one wants. It's my destiny to be abandoned."
Jiang Xiaoman: "That's wrong. Everyone's existences have meaning. System said you are especially important, even more important than me. You'll be a really really useful person in the future!"
System: "...??"
Did it say that??
Later on, the system stopped giving Jiang Xiaoman any tasks. Jiang Xiaoman was very sorrowful and said, "Mr. System, why won't you play with me anymore?"
System: "... just try to grow up first and learn to understand every word! You're killing me!!"
Jiang Xiaoman worked hard to blacken (not really) under the system's supervision until she was reunited with her wealthy parents. She scratched her little head and asked, "Mr. System, what about the task? Didn't you say that we should fight over the family's wealth?"
System: "What kind of wealth do you still want to fight over? You already have more money than your wealthy parents!"
Thoughts:
An enjoyable slice of life novel!
If you don't know, I really enjoy slice of life stories so I didn't feel bored at all reading this.
Most of the scenes are focused on FL's growth. Like from a three year old to a college student. Although there is a hint of romance (towards the end), it has never been the main focus.
I really appreciate how FL is smart, but not to the point it's unbelievable for her age. Both she and ML actually act like children when they were kids (which is suprisingly rare), not like the typical novel child. Both of them do cry, both have things they weren't aware of, and both (mainly FL, but ML tags along) also do stupid shit.
She is also super funny. Her comebacks, monologue, and the situation she puts herself in is mostly hilarious.
ML, on the other hand, is more like the typical male lead, however it is cute how easily embarassed he gets because of FL. I love how he goes along with her whims and plans, and his inner monologue about it!
I love how the author didn't feel the need to make the ML stronger than the FL as they got older. Both of them are smart and strong, but can also rely on others when they need to.
Also childhood friends to lovers! Yay! They are honestly so cute and funny.
Other than the leads, I also really enjoyed FL's uncle! FL's grandma, ML's father, and their friends as well, but her uncle just hits different.
He's just so funny and husband material, I can't help but fangirl whenever he appears lol. Out of all the characters in the novel, he is the one that got the most character development! Okay.. the system did as well ahem*
So yeah, the ending was kinda meh tbh. I wish they showed more of the leads' relationship, but oh well. The drama is not bad, but isn't really the main focus as well since FL didn't really care enough about the antagonists.
The translation split chapters into 3 or more. As of now, it ended just after chapter 120. So chapter 121 onwards you'll have to MTL. Then for the extras, you'll to search for the novel's chinese name 崽崽撕碎反派剧本.
Anyways, try it!
