Thoughts:

A futuristic and psychological novel!

I really like both the FL and the ML. In this one ML is the one chasing FL, however he doesn't force his opinions on her and stuff. He slayed his 10 chapter appearance (I'm exaggerating).

FL is an abuse victim and received heavy trauma so she thinks she can't handle love. She is VERY strong. I quite liked how they both didn't fall in love at first sight. They interacted as strangers (like most of us do when talking to people we don't know) because they ARE strangers.

Ofcourse, romance really isn't the main theme but psychology! I felt sorry for every abuse victim, even those who did evil, however just because something bad happened to you, doesn't mean you should inflict pain to others (ok maybe I'll allow revenge on deserving people).

Again I have no clue regarding mental illnesses so I don't know if the whole portrayal is accurate or not. The reviews said yeah, so I guess I'll trust that.

So yeah. The build up to the romance isn't detailed (I wanted more scenes of those tbh) but it's fine. The psychological aspect and FL's character development is too good to be set aside just for romance (like only focuses on love then forgot about the plot details kind of thing). Overall not my favorite as I prefer fluff, but it is still a good read. However it is short, it ended abruptly. I am slightly unsatisfied!

So yeah, try it!

**WARNING** various types of abuse is mentioned frequently in great detail. Please read with caution. You have been warned.
