I like rational leads. She is rational, he is rational, it's a win-win for me.
I liked how FL had a serious relationship before engaging in one with ML. I like it when characters (female leads cough*) engage in love before finding "the one" since it's more realistic that way. Yes, I am biased. Please don't hate me.
Anyways I aspire to have her reaction if ever I get cheated on in the future. Despite being a lot older than me, there are some thoughts of hers I can relate to.
However it gets kinda annoying how often the novel addresses that FL isn't like the female leads in dramas. Like, we get it girl, you're not like other female leads. Stop being so redundant.
Yeah, so anyways..
This novel portrays what happens if you missed your chance. If only FL's ex didn't cheat, ML would've never had another chance to pursue her. Actually, FL didn't even KNOW ML, which is funny.
Second chances are rare to come by, so ML was lucky it came. Overall a slightly above average read.
