Yo, I finally read another chinese novel.
I really like the FL in this one, moreso than the ML. She's funny, has a lively personality, and is bold/straightforward. I appreciate the fact that she isn't afraid of affection. ML has the typical male lead temperament (the cold-to-everyone-but-his-wife one), but I liked him nonetheless (he was bossy and kinda rude at the beginning tho.)
Tbh there's not much to say since it is a short novel. Is it cute? Yeah. I giggled and swooned over FL's actions countless of times. Is it funny? I think yes, since I did laugh.
However it has its flaws.
Since it is short, there are some plots that were rushed and their pasts were not explored further. This could easily have atleast 10 more chapters and not feel dragged. I wanted more and was not really satisfied.
Also they met through a series of coincidences, to which I personally don't mind since y'know, it's fiction.
So yeah. Overall a good, quick read! Try it! The MTL is understandable btw.
