Translated stories I like enough to recommend. I review them so expect some spoilers (I try not to spoil major events.)

He wants to see her panic and lose her head, waits for her to scream and escape, but after blanking for three seconds the woman's eyes instead shine faintly.
"What a good opportunity to try a new variety!"
"......"
He who always lingers in the deepest darkness, has never thought that there would be a person who can fill a whole wasteland with flowers and grasses.

Ayo! I finally read a new novel! (I spent my time rereading novels, reading manhwas and the like.)
Ok so anyways I really like this story! The description (a scam) had piqued my interest but then it got better and better!
I really liked both the protagonists.
FL is very self aware (be it her weaknesses or feelings) so she rarely troubles anyone with her actions (if not deliberately). She is also smart and didn't become brain dead when she fell in love. She isn't the type to want to be so "independent" that she doesn't rely on ML, even when it's freaking obvious she can't handle it alone (ahem* og FL).
She is supportive of ML's choices, doesn't force him to change and is blackbellied so yeah! A strong female character I like!
ML, on the other hand, is a very complex character. He is the type I usually don't like reading (yanderes) but I really liked him. He is a lunatic, which makes him more lovable in my opinion. Mans actually has a personality!
Anyways disregarding ML's murder tendencies, he is actually the more innocent and shy out of the two, probably the trait which makes him so endearing (he's funny too.)
He's really insecure and usually doubts the FL, but the novel and he himself acknowledges it. Most characters here actually have depth.
They are surprisingly not toxic (atleast as they began their real relationship). The two of them together are funny and made me giggle a lot! They tease and make fun of each other, but at the same time are supportive and knows how to cheer the other person up.
One of the many funny scenes:
*ML carries a sweaty FL*
ML: "Isn't there a saying that a beauty is cool and refreshing without sweat? You stink to death."
FL: "That's why you are the beautiful one."
ML: "...."
Regarding the original leads, they actually have some similarities with our protagonists, however their differences made a huge impact on why I disliked the former and liked the latter.
I can't believe that there are actually protagonists like them. I haven't encountered them or rather, I choose not to read about it.

So yeah! Read it! There are a lot of plot twists I didn't expect and is a good combination of romance, comedy, action, and (at times) horror!
Ya'll are lucky the translation just finished. You would never feel the pain I felt when I had to MTL this, like holy shit, my head ached. Actually, even with the translation some terms just flew over my head. I am just not cut out for reading xianxia, xuanhuan, or any cultivation stories lol.
