Title: The Entertainment Circle is Mine / My Crown in Entertainment Circle

Type: Chinese Novel

Author: Chun Dao Han

Chapters: 172

Description:

Xu Zhaixing's idol, Cen Feng, was a new star, slowly rising in the entertainment circle. She firmly believed that everyone would see the brilliance of her idol one day. But she could no longer wait for the day to arrive...

Cen Feng had committed suicide at home because of depression. It was only after his death that the injustices he had suffered had been revealed to the public.

It turned out that he was an adopted orphan, and his biological father was actually a murderer.

It turned out that the reason he never touched the piano again was that his little finger was intentionally trampled by his teammates.

It turned out that the team was harassing him, and he offended a higher-up company, resulting in resources being divided.

It turned out that the treasure, which she had been so afraid to hold on to her palm in fear of breaking it, had been trampled on, had been beaten black and blue...

Six months later, Xu Zhaixing died in a car accident, only to be reborn as a high school student. She was just a freshman that year.

It was ten years before Cen Feng committed suicide.

I'm going to use these ten years to build the best road just for you. All those who hurt you will never appear in front of you. Brother, let's walk the flowery road together this time.

Honestly I was quite hesitant to read this novel since it's rather long and there are few translated chapters, but I'm glad I did!

Maybe because of the pacing or length of the chapters, I finished it quicker than I expected.

I really like how FL is a fan that knows the word 'space'. Like yes, she provides ML with everything he needs, but she also prioritizes what he wants. She isn't pushy and actually listens to his opinions, yet at the same time still proactive.

It is kinda realistic as well in the way that, although FL is OP since she did experience rebirth, what she had today wasn't made by her alone but with other's help. Age is quite the hurdle when it comes to business (and a lot of things if I'm being honest.)

ML, on the other hand, is indifferent, but is naturally kind (to anyone really). Ofcourse as the male lead he is also OP, but not to the point he became an unlikeable Gary Stu. I pitied him a lot, however I didn't cry.

ML's depression was the main focus of the novel. I like how FL wasn't like the 'cure' to his illness. I mean yes her presence did help, however she alone did not cure him (I will not say more since that'll be spoilers.) I am not well-versed in mental illnesses so I have no clue if it's accurate or not, but the reviews said yeah so I guess yeah?

Anyways they are cute. This is a slow burn (not that I mind) since it focuses more on the business stuff, career shit, and the overall development.

I really appreciate the side characters here. They were the ones who made me laugh (most of the time). My one complaint was that some side characters just faded and was never mentioned again. I miss them!

The protagonist support each other fully, but they don't really communicate. I mean they do, but at the same time they don't? It's complicated. Well whatever, they still made the relationship work so I guess it's fine.

Anyways try it! MTL is understandable albeit confusing at times.
