I really enjoyed this novel!
It includes Jade Emperors, deities and other stuff that's part of Chinese Mythology, which may be confusing at first. A perfect combination of comedy, fluff, and angst.
I don't want to admit it, but damn, I cried (like tears pouring but not sobbing) for almost every life, especially during their last.

My favorite part of this novel is ML's character development. He was very arrogant at the beginning, but as it went on, you'd see how he gradually liked FL. He's a huge tsundere so it was hilarious seeing his reactions in certain scenes.
He was also the one who first fell for FL as her own self, not her reincarnations.
FL, on the other hand, didn't really have that much character development, though I honestly didn't mind it. She is impulsive (the reason why they got into that mess) and isn't very smart, but she's funny and bold. Her positive traits outshined the negative ones for me.
Because of their personalities, there were some scenes where they switched the typical reaction of protagonists during flirting. It was cute.
Anyways, I liked how FL couldn't forget about ML's first reincarnation cause he was my favorite as well! That cutie~
So yeah, this couple has very high chemistry and always bickers. A fun enemies to lovers novel.

My honest opinion about the drama: it's very different from the novel. While I understand that you have to make changes to lengthen the plot and story, I didn't like any of it.
They added second leads, removed the witty banter/fights, and made FL too "infatuated" with ML at first sight, which was a contrast to their novel dynamic. Also the dub is very distracting.
I didn't make it past the 3rd episode so maybe watching more could change my mind. But as of the moment it would be a skip for me.
There are positives though: I liked the visuals and graphics. They also nailed the animal arc (which for some reason they placed first rather than third?)
Anyways it could be a nice watch if you don't compare it to the novel. Try it out if you'd like!
