Title: Transmigrated into a Parvenu's Ex-wife in the '90s

Type: Chinese Novel

Author: Xue Ye

Chapters: 148

Description:

She woke up from her sleep to the divorce papers that the original owner's husband tossed at her.

Shu Yan picked up the document and took a look. She gets the house and the savings, but not the car.

Oh! And her son and daughter.

She had been a single woman in her 30's in her previous life, and now she's a mother?

How exciting is that?

She searched her memories. Two million dollars in savings. How much is two million dollars in the 90s?

What's a husband? The other woman can have him. I'm taking the money and my instant son and daughter to go and enjoy ourselves!

Thoughts:

One of those rare stories wherein the female lead's kids are NOT the male lead's.

I liked the fact that FL and ML aren't impulsive and did not fall in love at first sight, especially since she has children. Every decision she made, she had her children in mind.

I'm not saying you should let them be an obstacle towards love, however when it comes to your responsibility as a parent, finding a good partner who'll also love (or atleast respect and include) your child is a must.

So yay for that.

I also liked how ML didn't force FL into a relationship and all that toxic shit. He asked, waited, and made an effort to create a bond between him and her children. If that isn't husband material, then idk what is!

Tbh I understand why FL wanted to beautify herself (surgery to remove spots), whiten herself (beauty standard), get thinner, and all that, however I don't like the fact that she starves herself! Like wtf? She literally made herself underweight.

I too am a bit underweight, however that was the effect of metabolism. What's the use of being thin if you're unhealthy?

Anyways, translation is fluent but split into three (maybe more idk). I MTL'd the rest and though understandable, the business aspect confused the shit out of me.

So yeah, try it!

(Btw MTL is basically google translate on a site, so expect wrong grammar, confusing sentences, and all that.)
